Contentious opinion:
Most fun: mop rogue was awesome.
Most powerful: legion. Even with the ability prune, legiondaries + artifacts…I used to have swords that would explode aoe and heal me.

Frost Mage during Ghostcrawler’s entire reign.
My first main (and the first to get to max level) was a Retpal in Mists. I remember going from near godlike dps to really pretty lackluster after a major patch. Skills were gone, customization for skill path was meaningless…
Looked kind of bleak until my Guild Master urged me to try the Tankadin spec. She is now my maintank, and will always be sword & board.

Legion.
The artifact weapon, the legendaries we earned, it all made my spec feel whole and complete. Holy priest wasn’t the best, but it felt perfect. I felt like everything synergized so well, that I could do anything, heal anything, go anywhere with my guild and not feel like a detriment.
I miss that wholeness, a lot. When we lost our artifact weapons, I felt like my spec had it’s heart cut out. I’m still grieving.

Ulduar - Pre-Yogg Nerf patch.
Best Holy Paladin Build in the game. Using Hunter/Shaman Mail and going deep into ret for insta-cast Flash of Lights and something like 50+ % holy spell crit resulting in a middle of the road DPS spec that tosses out an instant heal every other GCD. On par/better healing that my raid healers at the time since I was able to snipe all the heals.
Cataclysm mage for me. Homebrew talent build, I was more-or-less impossible to kill. Ultimate harasser setup.
Ret paly circa wrath icc tier divine storm spam.

Ugh I hate cataclysm mages. It’s just personal lol. I always fought with a mage in a guild I was in when it came to top dps so I’d get butt hurt when they’d beat me.
Wrath for dks was their peak. 2v2 ret and dk was gg
The last time I felt truly powerful was back in Wrath of the Lich King.
I haven’t felt powerful since Cataclysm, when the designers decided to completely re-write my entire role, because they decided, for no reason, things needed to change.
Lol better yet a dk dg a ret pally into av raid only to literally get mowed down by divine storm.

I feel at my most powerful in BFA because of essences. I’m really going to miss them when Shadowlands lands. More so than the artifacts from Legion.
Loved Pandaria ret pally, shadow priests, demo/destro locks, and enhancement shamans. Legion fury warrior.
Demo lock tanks of mop with aoe life drain so op.
