I think one of the beauties of WoW is how we can all approach the game from different angles and with different expectations and still walk away entertained. Sometimes I think we develop desires for the game but know deep down they’re unlikely to happen because they’re more personal preference than shrewd business decisions.
So what’s yours? What would you love added to the game which you are sure you’ll never see?
For me, I still want the same thing from WoW that I’ve wanted since waiting in the rain to pick up my copy of Warcraft III: A Scourge faction. The Forsaken and Death Knights are great but alone they don’t provide enough of that Scourge vibe that I crave. Sometimes I just want to burn the world down and if not soar across the sky sowing misery and mayhem.

A true PvE shard and ALL PvP moved to its own shard. No PvP in PvE shards.

Next expansion has 0 instanced raids, 0 instanced dungeons. All content is in the Open World. All content is still challenging and the bigger open world bosses actually have mechanics that so many people have to do in order to succeed. Maybe systems in place to make it so simply zerging it down isn’t always the ideal way to deal with the world boss. Dangerous zones classified as essentially “Open world dungeons and raids”.
Also Bard.
Player healthpools reduced by 50% across the board and/or stamina on gear reduced.
Something needs to be done about how long it takes to kill people in PVP.
I also want to go back to punishing PVP. Like you know how in classic a rogue can sap you for 50 seconds?
Yeah… Pvp now is really neutered beyond belief.
I would actually like to see Blizzard pull 100% completely out of E-sports.

A dungeon tower that works similar to diablo rifts where you can gear up level up and acquire cool items
A complete revamp of the crafting systems to make them more interactive and feel like actual crafting rather than just one stop click / gather chores. Maybe add some really cool ways to customize the items you craft.
I’d like to see a lot more customization and freedom come to the game. I know its not realistic, but I’d like there to be such a high level of creativity that the best avenue for playing is to tailor your play style completely to yourself as opposed to copy pasting builds from 3rd party websites based on parses and so on.

I guess I’d like to break away from the theme park on rails feeling of the game and experience WoW from a perspective of being put into a huge fantasy world where I can do just about anything I can think of.

Dryads. Or centaurs, as a playable race. Also, more customization for all races. Seriously, it shouldn’t be that hard and it makes everyone happy. Lets see some new hairs or skins.

More gear like benthic. You put in your time to collect whatever currency is required to upgrade known-stat gear. Kronomet is happy, the player is happy.

I think more mounts in the old dungeons/raids would be cool, as I’ve got most of em, as do a lot of people. A revamping of the questlines while leveling would be nice, the whole kill “x” amount of “y” and collect “b” amount of “c” gets old. Return of mage tower. Being able to fly without waiting 2/3 of the xpac. and Lastly, bringing back 2h Frost.
I am easy going and actually don’t have major issues like others seem to have every expansion.
My only thing I would like is maybe reduce how many raid difficulties there are. LFR, Normal and then do Hard Mode that you activate while in the raid like Ulduar.
I would ask for more gnome content but we finally got some this expansion so I doubt we will see more for awhile. Maybe at least just start adding them into Alliance cinematics.
Any rng forging idea scrapped. Including the new corruption feature

I’d like to be able to play all classes on one character, so I don’t have to worry about being an altoholic anymore.
