What Type of Player Are You?

There are many different types of players out there, and today I was just curious to know what’s out there! Are you…

*the super competitive type! Always looking for ways to min-max and push to be first to no matter where it is found? Thriving on competition gives you great satisfaction?

*the secret/unusual finder! Always looking for unusual ways to play, mogs, challenges? Turning over every pixelated rock to see what the world may be hiding somewhere?

*the “I just want to have fun” person! You don’t care what you’re doing as long as you’re having fun? You prefer running around with friends and guildies shooting the breeze and having a good time?

*how about the lore/art/music enthusiast! You might play the game some but you really love collecting the art and music and stuff? You’re always excited to see new zones and appreciate the hard work the artistic team goes into everything?

Of course, most of us at some point fall into more than one category, and that’s okay too! So, who are you?

Im here to have fun with my friends. Thats the only single aspect that keeps me playing.

The super competitive OCD sort…who has to keep it controlled or it ruins the game just like it ruined golf for me.
I cant get into anything competitive apparently or I take it way too far and obsess about every nit picking detail.
I thought I could handle it with the game, but I was wrong. I had to quit PvP and anything else that isnt just casual just to keep from losing my mind here.
Same reason I had to give up golf. Too competitive and seriously start losing sleep at night over it.
Now Im the “I just want to have fun” person. Its best if I just keep it that way.

Im the barbie online player. I swear i spend 90% of my time and gold at the transmog vendor, or farming content for new transmogs/mounts/pets/skins.

Aside from that im pretty casual these days.

I fit in no mold. I do not know what i am doing till i log on. That depends on who i want to play. Mostly i play wow to hunt down 120.

I play… for little pets and collecting old outfits. I refuse to have anything to do with that moronic necklace anymore. My current alt that I’m leveling (111 or 112) hasn’t done the quest and isn’t going to. He has Magni on ignore.

I’m a merc, unless the reward is worth the headache, I’m not doing your little task.

I’m a competitive fun junky. I’m obsessed with performing at my best all of the time but I also hold fun as a priority. It’s all about having fun with friends, guildies and even strangers all while progressing and improving.

i’m just here because my computer can turn on and i can access the game server.

even though all 17 of my over level 112 characters utilize the mission table, it’s not what i really am here for.

I’d have to say I’m a little bit of each. I like progressing in the ranks, but at the same time I don’t push the most current content like the majority. Lately I’ve been running old raids and dungeons for transmogs and mounts for my DK and Hunter. I’ve also gotten into engineering for transmogs mostly. If I’m feelin’ lazy I’ll run low dungeons to help people out and just for something to keep me goin’. Sometimes I feel like pushing high level keys or if I have the time current raids. My to-do list changes on a weekly bases. If I scratch something off I usually find something to add.

I’d say I’m this. I’m big on lore, so my final straw for BfA was the direction of the story (leading me to stop playing). As a roleplayer, I love building stories and seeing how Blizzard expands the world. Lore of races is a lot of fun for me too.

Also, I’m big on collecting. Pets and mounts are something I used to religiously farm, back when I still actually played. If I come back to the game, I’ll probably return to farming, as I still have quite a few I need to get my hands on.

If I do ‘actual’ content, I like tanking. Once I get the hang of the fights, leading PuGs can be pretty fun if I voice. PvP-wise, I miss being a target caller in RBGs, but with no solid schedule irl, I don’t have any means to make PvP teams.

High end, competitive player. Even tho I play the sh!ttiest class for M+ ;-;

I just wanna raid. So whatever that makes me.

I am a mix of these two:

^ This Girl just wants to have fun!

I’m this but I do have my own plan of action when I log on the game. I follow my own path in the game.
I do enjoy the Lore and the music of WoW. I find myself just listening to the music of WoW (Shout out to the Music and Art teams of WoW you guys and gals are amazing people.)

To have fun and look for things in the world and do things like archaeology for fun. I play solo mostly unless my boyfriend and my friends from SWTOR come over. I am more of a shy person so grouping with people I don’t know I don’t do it.

The Filthy Casual. I do basically no high-end stuff beyond LFR and +0 Mythics. But I like exploring the world, collecting things, working on little projects I set for myself. Mainly a solo player and I’m also a huge lore nerd.

In answer to OP I play to have fun, and collect armour and weapon transmogs. Plus just love to explore and bash anything in the way:grin::wink: I am a Death Knight after all:muscle::muscle::grin:
