What are the best toys to hunt that require the least time? I have most garrison stuff so you can exclude that.
If you could post how to get it as well would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.
Big one for me is Katy’s Stampwhistle if you don’t own it already. I use it everyday pretty much. I don’t know how rare it is to acquire these days, but its obtained by looting a physical envelope under a mailbox in Legion Dalaran. Once picking it up, it unlocks a quest chain that you can knock out in a day.
The quest chain is also very fun, I second getting this toy for anyone who doesn’t have it.
I get one heck of a bunch of mileage out of the party totem… it’s the only toy that all my toons have on menubar
theres also a rare vendor in Dalaran who sells a toy that makes rainbows flow out behind you… toy is 200k, worth every penny. (prismatic bauble)
There are two in Throne of Thunder, but those take a bit unfortunately…looking at you Jerry the Snail.
There are toys from the pet vendors, some from Leatherworking (particularly Legion), same goes for the other professions. Engineering will net you the most toys out of all the professions, however.
people seem to always get a kick out of the rainbow generator.
My favorite toys are the Big Red Ray Gun and Narcissa’s Mirror.
I use the mirror on Egbert in raids and he runs around. A lot of times I’m the tank and every one else sees the big hulk bear run toward the boss and they start attacking.
Big Red Ray Gun is SO GOOD for a lot of classes. I macro it to my Tyrant on my Warlock and Chi-chi on my Monk. It also works with a lot of other toys like Judgment of Mechagon and the Love Seat.
I am also happy to have obtained the puffer fish dish from the stupid turtles. And of course, since big things come in tiny packages, the Darkmoon Seesaw is always fun.

The bfa rep ones are fun. Got a jukebox that plays the song that the Vulpera sings to Dolly and Dot during the Voldun quest line. Love droping that in random raids.
Ugh… don’t remind me of that puddle jumping that took forever and was so annoying to do lol xD
Katy’s stamp whistle is the most useful toy ever lol definitely go for that.
I recently just got myself the worn Troll dice
I love Meerah’s Jukebox so fun to drop that down in big groups sometimes people hate it lol! Puzzle box of Yogg Saron and haunted war drums I like those Archeology has tons of fun toys.
Everyone in your random enjoys that, as well. Don’t believe them if they say otherwise.
If you have about 8k gold to blow, you can buy some toys from Haris Pilton in Shatt. I did that the other night. One of them is a ring that just displays a buff that says you’re of nobel lineage.
There’s also a granny in a house up where you zap rats in Stormsong, that has a toy, imaginary gun, that you can buy with polished pet stones.
That mini game to sort the letters is impossible! >:C
Burgy Blackheart’s Handsome Hat - become a gnome with a pirate hat for unlimited amount of time, no cooldown either.
the pirate hat also persists when you use other shapeshifting toys on top of that.
has some legitimate uses like if you’re a tauren and want to shrink down in size to make it easier in some dungeons and have better camera angles.
Just takes practice. I found it rather enjoyable.
Know that one guy that steals your mobs? Maybe takes the quest objective or kills the boss and you gotta wait for a respawn? Or you’ve just had a moment where a member of your own faction pisses you off so you’re like gah I wish I could gank my own faction.
N’lyeth, Sliver of N’zoth
I love this toy.
These are not really toys, but:
Crystal of Insanity
Oralius’ Whispering Crystal
As for what toy I use the most? The Golden Banana. I toss that onto the ground in front of final bosses of dungeons.
Mail box toy /Mail Box Pet ( Also a Bank / Vendor ) For Mail and stuff. Surf Board For easier fishing. Foam Sword for when you run into a random low lvl quest that requires you to weaken an enemy. Safari Hat for the extra pet battle EXP. The 4 flight path books for new alts to quickly learn old flight paths. Any of the Hearth stone toys so you can save 1 bag slot on each char. And if for some reason you really want to do AQ40 raid the freezing gun toy for the slime boss ( going to need drums too for this to work )
I’m fond of the toys like Little Wickerman/crystalline campfire that let you cook anywhere. Yeah, you can just build a bonfire but these are so fun.
