It’s been awhile since I’ve progressed through the Silverpine Forest story but I’m currently stuck on the quest “What Tomorrow Brings”. I don’t know if the area has been changed due to the Gilneas update or whatever but the area the telescope is in seems to be inaccessible for me. The walls are too high for me to jump over and all the entrances have gates that are closed. I’m only level 18 and can’t use flying mounts. Is there anything to get around this area to progress the quest?
this may sound silly, but try talking to one of the agents of time, or Chromie and ask her to send you to the age of the cataclysm. I have found that this often fixes issues I am having, like not being able to go to outland because the gate no longer leads there but Stormshield in the current era, so I went back in time and walked on through.
This solution doesn’t seem to work, I tried with both Chromie and the time keeper in Tirisfal glades.
Looks like someone attempted your fix, that was a good idea though. I think I was already in the Cataclysm timewalking period but I’ll go to Orgrimmar and try it for myself.
It’s odd because in this area they have level 70 Gilneas City guards like you would see surroudning capital cities and in that area around the church/telescope there is actually an NPC that gives you the ability to send the guards away if you so choose. I would assume this is for immersion/RP purposes? I’m not quite sure the reasoning.
Anyway I opened a ticket and got a response last night from a GM and all they said was we havent received any tickets/complaints/issues with that area and that there was nothing that could be done. I was hoping they could at least just flag that quest as having been done so I can progress the story because as it stands now I won’t be able to complete the zone unless I come back at level 30
Edit : I guess I’ll go to the “Report a Bug” forums and make a post, thanks for the suggestion btw
