Since I wasted my boost on Ele shaman I am now in Dire straits as I need to level a new main before TWW.
Anyone have any recommendations?
Unholy until it gets its usual 15-30% aura nerf then Warrior or Retribution, maybe Warlock.

I forgot to mention I already purchased a Character Boost ™️ for unholy but they got a huge nerf(10%) as well. I’m looking to be ahead of the curve in picking the strongest class available after the dust settles with all the knee jerk nerfs
Honwstly prepatch levelling is INSANELY fast. Id do a mop timewalking character for every class. You can get 10-70 in 90min-2 hours by just spamming dungeon queues.
These are the 4 I have narrowed down
Monk, priest, DH, & Rogue
I would prefer a class that will yield the highest results with minimal effort or add-ons ty
Edit: And Id like to be able to top the scoreboard dps/hps meters in BGs while fighting
Dh 100%. Just pve, stun off dr, and don’t die.
See, this is why Blizzard intentionally does such radical swings of class balance. I know you used the free boost for it and are gonna level conventionally, but a lot of people just buy boosts every time a patch happens.
Blizzard has a monetary incentive for imbalance.

Make mop character. Do intro. Queue for dungeon.

I think they got a big nerf too with removal of chaotic imprint, which I’m assuming was always active due to the talent by any means necessary
Not to mention their tier looks obnoxiously OP, so having all of your power tied to gear would kind of suck.
I’m not sure if you’re kidding or not, but it’s really really really pointless to look at tuning at this point in time.

I can’t remember a class looking, playing, and feeling strong that did a 180 on the day the expansion released…
Update:Blizzard will make changes 2 weeks after season start and leave it at that until S2
But there’s no point to being strong on the day of release. The season ends after months and months of gearing and tuning. The end of the season is what matters in terms of titles/achievements.
The only reason to be strong day 1 is that you want to bully other players.
I’m not bullying anyone I just want to have fun(at everyone else’s expense)
I think you should buy another one or two boosts
You know, just for caution. The meta s always chaging nowadays, you run the serious risk of not been S+++ tier sometimes
