Since we are mostly hyped for SL launch…However I foresee issue that will be unenjoyable come tomorrow night. The lags, sever crashes, blue bar boss, DDoS attacks and very buggy quest/npc. If I were you, I would suggest get something to do just in case it dose happen.
Think you nailed it.
Probably play Civ V tomorrow. Start playing WoW late Tuesday night.
I’ll check back in on Tuesday to see an 8 hour maintenance scheduled.
That’s honestly the best part. Being apart of the buggy mess and experiencing hell together. It’ll majorly suck if all of Blizzard’s staff goes on holiday and the servers remain broken for a few weeks though, I’ll grant you that.
Well I been play lot of Serkio trying get the 4th ending…Forgot how fun that game was. But let hope SL launch isn’t a disaster like pre patch was.
Anyone with half a brain knows it’s coming.
I’m gonna spend the time kvetching on Discord and playing other games while mashing the Login button.
I’m ready to sit in that glorious login screen, take a deep breath as I start to finally get in and DC. Rinse and repeat.
That’s part of the experience, lol. Don’t forget Trade/LFG chat becoming even more toxic than it is right now.
And I be watching everyone raging on the forums.
You’ll be needing this
i think maybe an hour of hiccups and everything will be mostly smooth
The one thing that i think is crazy theres not separate paths for horde and alliance. Right from the start everybody will be going into the same areas at the same time.
Aliance will stay in their safe buble and horde will go WM. It wont be much of an issue aside from the few aliance who actualy have some balls to spare.
I’ll be werking so hopefully things will settle down by the time I get on.
Lag, login servers down, bugs
The usual
My backup plan is staring at the login screen if it’s down while talking to my guildies on Discord and checking Twitter/forums for entertainment.
The launch of BfA was pretty smooth.
Warmode will be spicy tomorrow.
Even if it all does go up in flames, that’s half the fun of a release. It lets you know that more than a few people want to play too, i’ll be more worried if it goes seemlessly without an ounce of lag.
I probably won’t play SL for several months. I like to be solo. Don’t like running into 40 people trying to complete the same quest I’m on.
I’ll be playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and Battletech until probably next spring
