It was supposed to be 4 minutes ago but no one’s gone to the rapture yet so who knows?

The Forum Maint article was removed so we can assume a delay. Have to wait and find out from Bizz when it will happen. Assume for now you get to keep posting today :)

i guess updating forums came with difficult unfathomable problems.

I actually hope it's delayed for today. I have absolutely nothing going on here at work.

Yes it will be the same software as HotS and OW. The colors may be different though. We just don't know when it will happen, now that the announcement was removed.

They are moving every Blizzard forum to the new format eventually.

Maybe the new forum is only available on mobile phones? ( Sorry, i had to do it... )

I don't control this stuff! Sorry about that :) It was better to post the Maint article and warn people than to have it be a surprise. At least now people are a bit more educated and prepared.

Yes. Always good for people to not be taken by surprise by these things whichever side of the fence you are on. Especially good for people like shareholders and institutional investors to know these things. Transparency and all of that right?

They do not care one bit about the forums. They care about revenues and market trends.

It was all a clever ruse, to do a sudden bait and switch and make people go from

"We don't want new forums!"

to

"Where's the new forums? We want new forums, it was supposed to happen now!"

I'm gonna guess the forum developers don't know the message was taken down, and will go ahead and push the migration as they had planned, and it will end up being sudden, with an announcement about it on @BlizzardCS 5 hours later.

You know, usual Blizzard methods.

I think that's a good thing, I didn't even know about the change until Sunday night, now we know what to expect.
