What the Horde needs

A moment like this:

Rylanor’s Last Stand - Original Song - ft. George Hoctor & Cpl. Corgi - YouTube

I’m a devote of Chaos and even I feel moved by this stand.

… is to assassinate Sylvanas, chop her up into seven or eight pieces and then send her gift-wrapped in a big box to the Alliance to show they are still strong, still fierce… and still honourable .

An old warrior sticking to his virtues and holding onto his hate for those that betrayed him and ending his life in one final act of righteous fury?

I mean, there’s Orc warriors all over the game and before the game that have done this, most recently Garrosh Hellscream, Warlord of the Warsong, Warchief of the Horde resisting both the Venthyr and Jailers torture and ending his torment in one final strike.

Garrosh kinda doesn’t work due to his past history.

Saurfang would’ve been a good candidate but they’ve already casually knocked him off and he let the slur on his honor weigh him down too much.

Biggest problem tho would be painting Sylvanas as the clear villain to be destroyed and we all know how much Blizzard wants to avoid that.

What I said isn’t wrong. And the horde needs lgbtqia+ character representation.

They need to renovate Silvermoon City. It has been how many years since the scourge ravaged that place.

Why?

I mean, sure it’s nice for RL folks to have representation in entertainment and that segment of the population is the trendy thing right now, but why does the Horde need this? How will it add to their story?

The horde need to surrender and faction transfer to the Alliance , Night/Void elves don’t count

Because it’s part of the reason players like myself feel unwelcome playing the horde.

Case in point.

Don’t misunderstand me, I am a big believer in representation=normalization=acceptance (=less violence against vulnerable people). But it needs to be more than just representation for representation’s sake.

So I ask again: Why does the Horde need this? How will it add to their story?

Because if it doesn’t, the representation does not equal normalization. In fact, the opposite happens, folks resent the outlier taking up their time and that resentment spills over into the subject matter.

The horde needs a good booteranging.

Ok I’m going to take you for your word here and I appreciate your understanding.

The same way any other well-written love story would. Lor’themar is single. Why not have a little side story where secretly he is MORE hurt by the betrayal of the void elves, because it’s revealed that he and Umbric had a relationship?

The possibilities really are endless.

He already jumps into bed with Thalyssra.

Check.

The Horde needs San’layn and ogres, too!

I there’s a poem that implies that he did the deed.

Forcing representation detracts too much from the fantasy.

Doesn’t make sense for Horde culture.

An implication isn’t proof.

Shaw and Flynn are explicitly in a relationship. There is proof of such in the game.

Horde is made up of many races with their own cultures.
