It’s only hard when the healer feels the need to be a “DPS carry” and give me zero healing while I tank.
About 2/3 of my timewalking get as far as I’m able to solo tank.

I’m not saying they are hard, but you do know that your 120 level 430 ilevel gear doesn’t actually matter?
SOMEONE wasn’t killing and interrupting the Spellflingers as first proority. They wrecked us back then and they’re still wrecking the unwary!
See my earlier post in this thread.
I was never just standing in the corner, HoR was a different animal entirely because of the dungeon mechanics. I’d tank most the dungeons with my DK and dps with my hunter back then. And yes most the dungeons were an aoe fest and I loved it! The dungeons in BC and vanilla were more CC oriented than LK dungeons. Either way I always liked dungeons.
The only problem i have had is healer refuse to remove status effects and i die a lot do to them. Then we have dps standing so far back they get two or more patrols on them Then i have to charge to help them. Really its not the dungeons. Its the quality of players is getting really bad. How can you wipe on one patrol mob. Easy tank dies and rest die. It really bad and i chalk it up to boredom effect. Now i just go into LFR for last boss it hilarious to me. The rage is so sweat.
I healed halls of reflection as elemental with a fury warrior tank.
If you knew the dungeon it wasn’t hard.
The only time walking dungeon that seems to be over tuned is Pit, everything else is fine and I have been using them to power level multiple alts (rip not waiting for the 100% xp buff)
Last boss is overtuned.
Had an ice patch despawn under me. Got one shot because I couldn’t move fast enough.
I dont remember that guy one shotting people.
Lol.
Learn mechanics like everybody else has said. Casters first and don’t pull like a zug zug
you cant pull big in timewalks
Wait, people are struggling in TW? I spend 95% of my time dps’ing on my healer…
They not difficult.
They have been increased in difficulties SINCE 8.3. The average item level of BFA at 8.3 is also tremendously higher as well, and with the added effect of corruptions there was a need to make Timewalker not an absolutely push over afk-fest.
Does it take longer to complete them? Yea.
Does it take longer to complete them if you’re with a group of guildies? Not at all, or at least it doesn’t if you have SOME combat experience.
ilvl doesn’t matter in timewalking. Just gotta make sure you have gear with ilvl higher then it’s being scaled down to.
This week is Wrath timewalking. So…kinda?
The WoD epic ring with stat proc is the choice over the legendary itself. Gear with as much sockets as possible, trinkets can be played around with as the damage scaling is pretty strange. They’ve nerfed and buffed many trinkets many times over the years in TW. I stopped testing them after a while. The rustbolt trinket with the laser gem is super strong for sure. ICC rep ring has a stat proc but the legion haste legendary is super strong. Enchant all gear possible using older enchants, gem everything using wotlk gems. Reusable flasks and the old reusable runes work. Food from the yak mount is also decent, all of this is basically free stats, use them.
Wait do people think wrath heroics were hard back in the day? I remember them being extremely easy, are you guys thinking of cata heroics?
ilvl matters not.
The difference is, they certainly tuned things up.
The exact same time walking last cycle was a cake walk.
Certain over pulls were possible then but are not as viable now.
like, if you always follow the cautions you would normally you should see very little difference. maybe notice nothing at all. but if you do over pull and expect to be able to shrug it off like last time, you will find that is not really going to happen without extra effort.
oh and boss mechanics! people, especially ranged need to NOT STAND AT THE EDGE OF THE STAIRS!
the stone gets tossed off the encounter, you all go flying for fall damage and then no one can find the stone to hide behind because you put it half a mile away.
U,U just saying, (some) mechanics matter again so don’t ignore them.
Welcome to Wrath of the Lich King, where running around like you’re Rambo will get you killed. Learn the mechanics and remember that you can’t pull huge mobs like you can in BFA.
As for your request to nerf the dungeons…
HELL NO!!! Either learn how those dungeons work or don’t do them.
Don’t pull big, but keep pulling. First pack almost dead? Head to the next. Pulling three as once somehow almost wiped me in old kingdom today lol. I and the paladin were last two standing. Think someone fat butted extras.
