What the hell are you doing with our class, Blizzard?

He’s fine with the nerfs if the spec didn’t just have Burst AoE to its name. If it had additional single target or sustained AoE he’d be more than FINE with the nerfs the spec received. Reading FURTHER into his post where he deliberately states, "What concerns me is that’s all I can do. "

Reading comprehension please. Stop just being angry at things.

As much as I hate to agree with Curoar, since he was in favor of the nerfs from the beginning, Archi has not been happy with the current state of the warrior. He has even voiced his displeasure on the warrior Discord, which really shows the poorly direction this class is heading.

We have to talent into to many of our abilities we should just have as baseline warriors. We have had a lot of abilities, old legendaries, old talents, conduits removed from the class. The class is in it’s most trimmed state.

I think a lot of it stems from the fact that our class tree still has so many critical DPS options all in the final row. If you look at some of the good class trees like Mage or Shaman, their capstones are primarily utility choices. There’s not very much dps throughput in either of those class trees, whereas warrior is locked into picking 2 capstones.

The amount of points we have to commit just to get Avatar is pretty wild, and we’re forced into crap like Weapon Specialization that gives significant dps for the cost of a point. It’s not even an option, you’re always always picking it.

And you’re still tuck on this idea that he’s “Negotiating.” If the rest of the post stopped there, than yeah I’d agree with and wondered what he was saying. But that’s not what the post is about. Its about deliberately calling out that we’ve been nerfed, and still haven’t been compensated for it, AND THAN GIVES ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES OF THIS ISSUE.

You’re angry at someone that has done a tremendous amount of work that he doesn’t get paid for, and does it for the love of the game.

You’re upset that he’s not screaming bloody murder, because he wants to maintain a solid relationship with ACTUAL HUMANS when he gives feedback.

You and I aren’t going to see eye to eye on this, but don’t sit here and attack one of our staunchest supporters, who has very vocally been upset with these nerfs.

I was in favor the initial nerfs to Odyn’s & Bladestorm as at the time they were hardly nerfs that were too impactful to Fury. Past that, I’ve been very confused about why Fury has been catching nerf after nerf.

you dont know it, but Curoar is in fact Archi’s wife… discussion might proove useless

Is it bad that this wouldnt surprise me in the slightest? Curoar and Greil must have a humiliation fetish because they LOVE getting bent over by blizzard, even when Arms is the worst spec in the game.

well, some people enjoy pain. Discussion with those 2 trolls is completely useless. Shooo…go away trolls, go away…

In my time playing WoW I can recall every time that Arms was a strong spec in the content I enjoyed. Dragon Soul, Hellfire Citadel, Tomb of Sargeras, Nylotha, Sanctum of Domination, and other various tiers.

I can also recount all of the times Arms was in a terrible state. Ulduar, Seige of Ogrimmar, Blackrock Foundry, Battle for Dazar’alor, Castle Nathria, and again others.

Sometimes your spec is great. Sometimes it’s bad. It’s never constant. The only constant is you and the fun you derive from the gameplay loop of a rotation or a classes mechanics. Anything else is a crap shoot.

I’ve learned that dooming and being angry at a game robs me of the joy I get from playing it. I can’t control balance. I can’t demand that Blizzard snap their fingers and make everything better.

I can only leave feedback (like I did in the 11.0.5 forums) and find the fun where I can. I’m having fun doing keys with my friends, progressing through Mythic, and playing all specs of my Warrior. I’m sorry I refuse to sit here and partake in pitty parties about something I have ZERO control over. That’s exhausting.

Correct, making concessions before you even hit the negotiating table is never, ever helpful to your cause - it’s not seen as goodwill, and being firm doesn’t immediately mean you’re hostile instead.
Imagine if you made concessions before you even started to inquire about buying a house, or when talking to a car salesman…
