The last couple of times I have gone to Nazjatar, there have been massive raid vs. raid battles between Newhome and the alliance version of Newhome, and the zone has been so laggy I can barely move. Is the sharding broken in Nazjatar so that everyone in warmode ends up on the same shard?
Two things: Raid groups are immune to sharding and several Zerg communities have figured out how to get multiple raids in a single shard
Oh, so it’s intentional abusive behavior. Cool.
Multi-raid sharding has been in the game for ages. There’s nothing abusive about it.
Gotta love online anonymity. Being anonymous on the internet allows people to be as disingenuous as they want without having to worry about any consequences.
“Purposefully making the game nearly (if not nearly, then completely) unplayable is NOT abusive behavior. That’s what some random guy on the forums told me!”
Abusing no… one of the few places where it’s fun.
Also gives you the ability to bloviate and insinuate things about groups of people like you and others do on a daily/weekly basis, irrelevant to whether it makes sense or not.
“I’m going to apply my standard of what i think constitutes abusive behavior and then paint people with said standard and if you disagree I’m going to make passive aggressive posts! Gotta love the forums!”
I get it. You’ll redefine anything necessary to make bad behavior seem like acceptable behavior. Understood! Keep on rocking that disingenuous nature of yours. Internet anonymity ftw.
Well, Newhome is always laggy cause the giants seem to spawn indefinitely.
Alliance town has mediocre defense.
But in almost any zone with two or more raids pvping, that area becomes a laggy mess. The only exception to this has been large BGs.
And anyone who says boo to you gets mass reported…it is known yawn
OP, the lag is the zerg guilds bringing the max number of raids for BFN to prevent actually having to pvp in warmode. Haven’t really seen much of them out in Uldum or Vale other than a straggler here or there. They want their conquest without having to fight for it. Quite amusing really.
It wasn’t even during the battle. And the reason I called it abusive is because it makes the zone unplayable. I’m not complaining about massive PVP battles or getting killed by mongo alliance guilds, but there were 3+ seconds of lag for any input. And when people create those conditions intentionally, that is abusive behavior.
The beautiful thing about it is, it isn’t abusive behavior. It isn’t anything against the rules. It’s PvP. There’s a PvP solution to a PvP problem therefore you get zero sympathy from Blizzard. No one is intentionally sitting in Newhome or Mezz on either faction for hours on end camping the portal. You got aoe’d down and are upset about it. No need to make up things to soothe your ego.
Edit:
And when people create those conditions intentionally, that is abusive behavior.
The problem is you are insinuating it’s abusive behavior and claiming intent with zero proof.
No one is mass reporting anyone lol.
A person intends the natural consequences of their actions, you mongoloid. If we all know that loading multiple raids into a shard is going to cause lag that makes the zone unplayable, and you do it anyway, you intend to cause the lag. Hence, abusive behavior.
EDIT: I don’t know why I am engaging with you; your post history indicates that defending this as acceptable is your gimmick. I expect we will see a fix at some point.
Uh, you and Bashaa literally said on another forum thread though that, “we bring in multiple raid groups so that the other faction can’t retaliate.”
Because, if they bring in the same amount as you, it’ll crash the server, and therefore, “is a valid strategy.”
There isn’t a PvP solution to that buddy. It’s not PvP when the server crashes and you want to blame the opposing faction.
Are you dumb? You haven’t proven jack about people’s intentions. You are assuming people are intentionally causing server lag which is a load of crap lmao. You’re mad you got inconvenienced in a video game and are trying to rationalize whatever insane motive you’ve drawn up in your head.
It isn’t even the players causing most of the lag, it’s the insane amount of guard spawn in both towns. You still are trying to really project with the word “intent”. You have zero proof we intend to cause the lag other than your idiot assumptions.
You’re engaging with me because like the many others before you, you tried and failed to smear people and paint them as bad actors, with nothing more than assumptions and your own biases.
PS: This stuff has been going on since well before BFA… using group finder to form raids is within the bounds of the game. Sounds like you need to turn WM off if it makes you this upset.
I have literally never said that you freaking liar. I said we form multiple raid groups to help the most people get their stuff done in Nazjatar and other zones. Lying already not even a paragraph in.
They phased into us, not the other way around. They were the ones who phased in with numbers and caused the problems we saw.
The server didn’t crash until the boxer came. Which has been proven on multiple occasions.
Stop lying.
Bro, I literally stated the level of proof required in court: that a person intends the natural consequences of their actions (you don’t actually have to read people’s minds). So I did prove that you intend to cause the lag by forcing multiple raids into a single shard. Checkmate atheist.
I’ll go ahead and accept you deleting your account as satisfaction for owning you so thoroughly.
Typically when someone likes another’s comment, it means they’re in agreement with them. You didn’t say it, Bashaa did. You proceeded by liking it lol.
You first.
You literally didnt. Also, are you trying to apply legal standards to a freaking video game? Jesus how desperate are you to have an argument? Lmao
