What specs/classes would fit this description?

For arena or just gaming in general I always prefer the things where the gameplan/goal that you want to accomplish is pretty easily laid out but the difficulty comes from figuring out how to successfully reach that point

Mainly what I’m asking is what specs/classes in this game have a set goal each game, I guess maybe a good example of what I’m talking about is hunter trap or root beam etc

Like a checkmate go/setup? I think frost Dk is like that although their goes can be nullified which could be frustrating.

Stun silence after you torrent to make rift and pump it is def scary by 3rd or 4th one.

Good sp team can put you on checkmate when you get caught in a gap and nothing to trade.

I was watching one of Stahps recent videos where he was vod reviewing and he said something i liked. " Every stun/silence on healer should be a transaction and net you something if your doing it right."

SP is one of the better designed specs in that regards similar to hunter/boomy trapping/beaming and doing damage right it forces an unpleasant transaction on enemy team and you net enough CDS you get checkmated and dead. Puts quite the timer on you.

Enhance shamans totemic doomwinds go.

Basically the only time you have kill potential. Get the stacks pop wolves totem doomwinds primal blast into primal storm. Sounds very simple but losing any uptime during the go ruins it completely.

If you get interrupted, cced, disarmed or target leaves melee range (melee is an overstatement, its more like IN YOUR FACE AND TOES RANGE) it fails completely

Very true. Figuring out how to do it consistently is very hard. Especially with how weak enh defenses are right now.

You basically just send BW+CoTW in opener, get CDs, spam damage, and stun+trap the healer as much as you can while running away from melee using slows and root trap. Then you usually win if you get a 2nd CoTW. There is nuance, but it’s also an extremely straight forward spec/playstyle, and hard to CD match against outside of CoTW because of the insane CDR on BW

Literally all of them, but they go about it in a different way.

Aff warlock dots everything, gets off mini goes with haunt, medium ones with soul rot, and big ones with darkglare. Everything else is staying alive.

Trap is dependent on the matchup. Sometimes it’s better NOT to trap and just do damage and other matchups you have to push in to trap.

actually useless atm as basically every healer can get out of it by themselves now. Similar to hunter, there are times to push in and clone, but it’s often better to avoid damage and do your own.

If you want something simple, play a melee dps and press W XD
