I am deciding to roll a warlock, may be prob gonna main if its good. So, any ideas on what spec to choose? Is it right to main a lock in SL? I don’t want to jump from spec to spec and overwhelm myself with various rotations. I just want the best spec esp for solo questing through SL and other PvE stuffs like M+ and Raids? Id rly c about PvP though.
Desto has some big crits with Chaos Bolt and Demonology has abilities where you can pop lots of pets at once.
Affliction is a bit more involved as you have to cast lots of dots (which I like), but it may not be to everyone’s taste.
I’d maybe try one of the first two specs I mentioned.

For solo, I go Destro. Demon Skin, Mortal Coil, fel puppy for interrupts. Stuff dies fast, I can easily heal myself three different ways and it’s super fun to me.

I’m only a very amateur player on my warlocks, but I think it’s hard to go wrong with Destro. It’s a pretty simple design - You cast your spells and they hit hard.
That said, I think Demo is one of the best designed specs in the game. The flow of the rotation feels so logical, and builds momentum to such a solid pace. Before long you have an almost non-stop stream of instant demon bolts, and summoned demons which in turn grant you more instant demon bolts. It’s lovely.
I do think affliction is very good right now. It’s certainly the most enjoyable to me that it’s ever been. Malefic Rapture makes it feel like you have a much more immediate effect on the enemy. It can just feel a bit more fiddly to play. Maintaining dots can get very tiresome. If that’s your thing though, rock and roll!

Right now, Destro is doing great numbers and it’s faceroll easy. Once you take Soul Conduit and get Wilfred’s Sigil of Superior Summoning and your 4-piece set bonus, it’s extremely satisfying getting a chain of Rains of Fire off and cutting your infernal’s downtime in half while also getting another two infernals and one or two Blasphemies to destroy everything in your path.
Demo is fun and does similar amounts of damage, but a bit more complex since it’s all about maximizing your demons’ uptime. I can’t say much about Aff, but it seems to be largely overshadowed by the other two at the moment.
Demonology is the most fun ive ever had in the game. Cant recommend it enough

Destro is probably the easiest to do well with, at the moment. But play it because you enjoy it, not because it’s the best. Any 3 of the specs can do what you want to do, and you’ll perform better playing the spec you enjoy most.
Haha, it looks like Destro and Afflic would be great. I don’t know about Demo though. I used to play as Afflic but it was in BFA.
Besides, as I watch others playing Destro, its so satisfying to watch with fel bolt hitting enemies hard.

All three specs are fun in my opinion but destro slaps hard, OOOOOOOOHOHOHO I love those Chaos Bolt crits. Rapid fire spamming Chaos Bolts with the 4 piece tier bonus and double leggos, hhhhhhhngggggghhhh

off the 3 specs, affliction is currently the lowest one in terms of performance
demo gets a buff after you get 2 pc of tier set
and destro gets ahead once you have 4 pc

Destro if you want to feel like a turret caster with a pet and a positive feedback loop that makes 4-piece feel amazing when it hits, or Demo if you really want a demon zoo. Both are good. Aff, if you’re not worried about topping meters and you really like DoT classes.
