Looking to make a mage heading into tww but not sure what spec i should focus on and learn i plan on doing a bit of everything
If you want a straightforward spec that is solid and has control tools, Frost. If you want to deal with mana management, Arcane. If you want to build up a big damage over time effect by nuking fast and hard, Fire.
