What spec is the most unnecessarily flashy?

Like, the most unnecessary spell effects flying everywhere, lighting going of, etc.

What spec is just over the top with the flashy?

Zoom in arcane mage

What about not zoomed in though? 'cause I’d still like to be able to do content.

Elemental Shaman is way flashier than I expected it to be.

Arcane or frost… honestly wow is pretty good at not going to overboard on effects

Subtlety. Objectively the only correct answer.

Zoom out holy priest running archon hero talent

You die and you actually become a spirit healer

Ah they mean visuals not buttons ;p

I mean none of them.

Why do you want to have an eplileptic seizure?

I mean visuals though! Why is everything twirling and spinning and exploding and weird shadow magic and shuriken etc now. We used to just stab things, sneakily. Without magic except when we cloaked I guess but that was pretty subtle, becoming all sneaky and dark.

Fair point

Was a joke.

I’m just asking what class has the most over the top visuals and makes the most pretty colors on my screen.

Balance druid is pretty good at flashing lights. I actually have to look away sometimes when casting Starsurge and Starfall.

Arcane Mage and Balance Druid are pretty flashy.

You should macro toys to your abilities to have that effect. Like when i’m on my rogue, my Blind macro is

#showtooltip
/cast Blind
/cast Everlasting Alliance Firework
/cast Power Converter
/cast Pandaren Firework Launcher

Or Sprint

#showtooltip
/cast !Sprint
/cast Perpetual Purple Firework
/cast Prismatic Bauble
/cast Path of Elothir

and my personal favorite Vanish

#showtooltip
/cast Vanish
/cast Hourglass of Eternity
/cast Kaldorei Wind Chimes
/cast Personal Hologram

Nothing in WoW, at least compared to Asian MMOs.

Go play FF14 lol, our abilities have no flash at all compared to theirs.

While raiding over there, my screen was so bright lol.

I mean in a raid fight it’s a total rave every time anyway.

They should revert all that and make an entirely new class called like, Void Stalker, or something. That’s basically how subtlety is now but with its magical flare cranked all the way up to 11.

That’d be cool. I’d play it.

Any spec, just go to a world boss at prime time

Yeah, I’d be down with them just making it two distinct things. Sneaky guy with a knife / leather warrior / what have you for trad rogue and then the new flashy ninja/void/whatever stalker class. Could even throw in the troll shadow stalker or w/e in there.

It’s mind numbing but I find vanilla combat rogue more visually engaging than being a swirly swashing pirate even though the rotation makes me wanna put some air vents in my skull. Somethings got dialed up visually when they really didn’t need to.
