Just wondering what people are going to level as in SL from 50-60? In the last month I leveled as Ele, it was fun, but there is some down time like when I die cause of a bad pull or taking time for a kill cause I need to kite. I used to play Enhance back in the day, so I like either spec.
I’m levelling another class first, but eventually I will level as Enhance. Levelling as a caster can sometimes feel bad. I think enhance will have a really smooth curve. Check out Tiqqle on YouTube and twitch. He prefers ele overall, but will be levelling as enhance, and has guides for both specs out.
Been leveling as ele. Only issue I have come across is depending on the mob larger pulls can really hurt especially if no mael is saved up.
Ele, I don’t love the squishiness of Enh. It also is easier for me to make a quick switch over to Resto for dungeons (both my preferred role and quicker que), after playing Ele.
Wanted to level up the Brewmaster first but took 6 hours to get in on Area 52 and I didn’t dare try to switch characters and get DC’d.

I’m leveling as Elemental. I’d love to level as Enhancement, but it still doesn’t feel right in my opinion.
Time of my life as enhance. Flame shock, Group em up, healing totem, crash lightning, storm strike, sunder, chain lighting, frost shock, lava lash, and just keep doing that with cds going off. Hurricane Stavros warning.

Ele for me. I’m doing a lot of questing with my husband on his warrior so the ranged and melee pairing is fun.
Enh for sure
Enhance is a much better spec right now.
I have Heroic level gear from Nya, so very little is concerning at the moment. The only time I’ve died is because I’m leveling in WM and got killed by another player.

Enhancement and loving it. I’ve actually never leveled a Shaman to max level before so playing Shaman has been a big surprise to me. It just feels so fun to me right now.
Enhance is bulldozing everything so far

Elemental for WPVP
AoE seems lackluster outside of Stormkeeper Chain Lightning + Earthquake
I’m sure it’s better when you have a tank and don’t have to worry about spell pushback
Still figuring talents and rotation
Enhancement is straight crushing it for leveling — feels so f@#%ing good, and feels like the old days.

Im ele and just crushing butts atm. I am only at 53 so maybe we get weaker toward level 60.

Barely been playing, and in welfare gear (110’s from ICC, 115 weapons from Nathanos), but Enhancement all day. I pulled a couple of bigger groups and still tore through them with ease, I love it.

Enhance. The amount of splash and self-sustain we’ve got is more than enough to pull 4-6 mobs at a time and cleave them down with Crash + Hailstorm with self heals from Earth Shield, Healing Stream + MW for Surges. The only time I’ve managed to get killed was kiting a 60 elite away from a Swelling Rift.
Everything else in my path has just MELTED.
