title says it all. personally, i usually just listen to the in-game music, but sometimes, i turn it off, and plunk on music from older games. lately though, been listening to celtic music, the dwarf fortress theme, and diggy diggy hole. really tryin to get into that dwarfy groove!
Music is an important part of the gaming experience for me, so I tend to listen to in-game music more often.
Iāve been replaying dark souls though, and much of the sound track is stuck with me. So If Iām not in the mood for in-game music I put something from there on. Pure epicness

When I canāt think of anything specific I usually default to Spotify charts to see if thereās anything actually good, or I find random early 2000 punk/rock playlists on YouTube.
There are a few great video game soundtracks though.
