What sort of music do you listen to while playing WoW?

Do you listen to in-game music, or a playlist on iTunes/WMP or do you listen to any song on YouTube?

I don’t listen to music while playing. but sometimes might turn on something on Hulu.

Usually some sort of metal on my warrior, and some sort of electronic music on my mage.

And, of course, orchestral music on warlocks. Because it is ridiculous to chaos bolt someone to an orchestra and I love it.

Most of the time I play with game sounds. The vast majority of the music in wow is simply amazing.

Edit - when I’m not listen to game sounds I’ll watch Game Grumps while I play.

I usually just have the default game sounds and music on, I love a lot of the music in the game and sometimes just want to sit on a mountain in a zone and listen to it.
I sometimes watch tv shows or movies on my laptop next to my single monitor, or I’ll play some music videos on my phone, but otherwise it’s almost always game music and sounds. /shrug

Rap, R&B, or YouTube documentaries/podcasts like JRE, PBS spacetime, Joe Budden, etc.

Game audio is on mute 99% of the time.

Usually varies between songs. I love Metal, electronic, rock, some J-Pop- erm.

Although since I listened to Starset’s newer album repeatedly during Legion WQs… it made my brain associate said album with the expansion.

None. I watch Netflix or Hulu. Atm I’m going through Futurama and The Next Generation.

Usually stream music from Nuclear Blast Records. Or I m streaming Hulu or Netflix on one of my other monitors.

I never listen to in-game music. Right now I’m listening to Tool. I’ve just never cared for the WoW songs.

I lied. When I don’t feel like watching TV, I will put all my Tool albums on shuffle.

Depends on what I’m doing. When doing BGs its usually some sort of metal or industrial because I’m basic. Raids I usually didn’t listen to anything because I wanted to be able to focus. Just questing and messing around, I usually have something on Hulu in the background but I don’t actually watch it.

In-game music. If I split my attention, my playing skill drops dramatically. Also, I am a low-key fan of game music, and like to observe how different music is used to set different moods in different games. Some of the music in WoW is exceptionally good, and all of it is at least decent.

Usually I listen to lectures or audio classes. If I listen to music it will either be old jazz or classical (I love KUSC streaming).

Same. Been going over their albums again for a couple weeks. Taking the 30th off, just because I have a million vacation days left and 5 months to use them.
