I’m going to go out on a limb and say its the same person who, when in TBC they get good, decided to make their Tier sets look like garbage.
You look lost, this is TBC, not “vanilla” and in TBC paladin has a very good taunt. Also their “PROT” gear is actually really good in terms of tier, the only hangup I see is that its overly allocated toward making threat and not enough toward mitigation stats, and as a result the gem sockets need to be wisely used.

we have a taunt and it works just fine.
also there’s plenty of tank gear from badges of justice.
