I missed it but what the mounts from the covenants and want to unlock flying in SL.
If you played it at all, you probably unlocked the vendor next to the FP in Oribos. That guy sells a token that will get you 60 Renown with your current faction.
I didn’t play any shadowlands.
If you never played it, I don’t think there is a “fast” way to gain renown then.
Check for the vendor anyway, it might just be unlocked by default now.
Even without the token, the catch up mechanics in play for Shadowlands Renown mean it’s not that much of a grind. (Honestly, you’ll get the renown naturally just by doing the quests needed to unlock flying.)
As a player who has never done Shadowlands before, here’s the general path you’ll want to follow:
- Do the leveling campaign that takes you through all 4 zones.
- Do your Covenent Campaign all the way through.
- Do the Chains of Domination (Korthia) campaign until you’ve complete “The Primus Returns” which awards Memories of Sunless Skies that you can use to unlock flying in the 4 main zones.
- Head to Zereth Mortis and work on the Achievement Unlocking the Secrets to unlock Zereth Mortis flying.
You’ll get the starter quests for Korthia (Chains of Domination) and Zereth Mortis before you finish up the previous steps. You can start them as soon as they become available or wait until you’ve finished up the other stuff your working on. It doesn’t really matter all that much from an efficiency standpoint. If you want the story to make the most sense, finish up one thing before moving on to the next.
Much appreciated. I’ll do that.
