What server would the community recommend for primarily ENG-language communities?

I play on Sargeras(Alliance) and Illidan(Horde), and I haven’t played since Legion. Coming back to the game, Trade and Services chat are absolutely swarmed with non-ENG advertising, and most of the time when I join a raid group either no one speaks, or I can’t understand them. These servers weren’t like this when I last played.

I don’t begrudge other languages in the game, I would however like to find a server that primarily speaks the language I do so that I can play with and speak to the players around me.

Is there a list of ENG-language servers that I could check out with alts so that I can decide if I’d like to transfer there?

Thank you for your time. And apologies for the potentially sensitive subject, I just really like being able to talk with fellow players when I’m playing an MMO.

There isn’t, no. There’s no requirement that people speak English in order to join any server.

Something to keep in mind, if you’re using the dungeon/raid finders, anything that places a random group together, the system will pull players from any servers that are in the NA cluster. This would include Oceanic servers too.

Best way to ensure that you are playing with people that you can converse with is to join an active guild (or start one) and group up with them.

If you played on Illidan then you should be used to non-English in every chat channel, it’s been that way for years.
