What scope you using for?

Fellow hunters what scopes are you using on your weapons, Monelite, Crow’s Nest, Incendiary Ammunition ?

I have each in my vault, just got a ranged weapon upgrade and can’t decide which scope to use. I took a month or two off as well and some things have change. Previously I had been using incendiary ammo as I haven’t been raiding or running mythics, had just been questing and running BGs. Incendiary chips in some decent damage and can crit, so been ok for PVP and all around.

Currently I PVP quite a bit and run some lower end mythics. Wasn’t sure if I should stick with incendiary or maybe use monelite scope instead for a haste boost. My haste is about 15% which isn’t great, but I do have the overwhelming traits on my current gear set, so I get some haste boost there. Maybe it’s a coin flip, but was curious what some of you are using and if it depends on the content you’re running mostly.

Gave up Crows Nest scope for Gale Force Striking enchant a while ago

My sims on this have been weird lately. With the bow from the new raid my sims insist I use gale force.

If its the corrupted bow, that makes sense. Gale force increases attack speed so that would increase the chances to proc a barbed shot refresh as well as reducing a CD by 2 seconds more often.

Scopes are only good for leveling 1-120. After that you want like force multiplier enchant or quick navigation enchants.

Not only that, but it is shifting my stat priority away from crit as well. Raidbots wants me to put on all the haste.

does gale force actually sim better than crows tho? my sims never show it better

For me gale force is simming higher than all other weapon enchants.

Mmmmm scratch that, ran the sim again to be sure, now crow is simming 12 dps higher than gale… maybe they are dinking around with it atm. Thought it was kind of weird gale kept popping up, cause I’ve never used that before haha.

Crit won’t be your best stat if you don’t have 3x Dance of Death (you seem to have only 2). Without Azerite traits Haste is the best stat. It’s probably better to take Chimaera Shot and Murder of Crows as well if you’re not using the crit build.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some corruption effects that also proc more often with more Haste. That could also be the reason. Infinite stars does a ton of dps, so if Haste gets you more procs then that would make perfect sense.

Just added a third dance and it is still valuing haste up to a point. The stat priority is even with 26% haste and 30% crit. It’s the bow, not the traits. When I take the bow off and sim my old one it has me stacking crit again.
