^^ sarcasm don’t do that. Twink has a very different meaning with adult videos involving all men.
Twink in video game terms is a coward that can’t hack max level PvP so makes an overpowered low level character so they can stomp lower level / lesser geared players.

LOL. I guess that’s one take on it.
Twinking simply means passing resources from a higher level character to a lower level character. But inferred within the concept for WoW Classic is that you deck out the lower level character with best-in-slot gear for whatever Battleground bracket you aim to play in.

No, totally wrong. PvP twinks are just characters maxed out with the best available gear at a specific battle ground bracket level, like a level 19 character for 10-19. This just makes them as powerful as possible at lower levels. Pvp twinks are actually a ton of fun to play, and there used to be a pretty decent community.

To OP, a twink is someone who intentionally stops at level 19, 29, 39, 49 and gets the BiS gear to perform as optimally as possible in battlegrounds. (Levels in Vanilla bgs aren’t scaled, if you join at level 10 you’re pretty much a piece of meat waiting to be torn apart).
It can be incredibly fun and competitive, but in brackets like 10-19 enchants can be a stupid-overpowered. It’s part of Vanilla, though. So you either die a noob or live long enough to become a twink.

There would be full on 10 v. 10 premades between level 19 guilds. Also you can’t really “avoid” them, I constantly got my @ss handed to me on my twink characters.

Yep, definitely sounds like they got destroyed by a twink at some point in time.
I twinked the 49 bracket in TBC. Was a lot of fun to 10v10 other twinks.

Twinking is when your main character is the sugar daddy to your lower level alt. You funnel gear and gold to your alt so they can be overgeared in a low PVP bracket (typically level 19 or 29).

Old term from text based muds twinkie became twink. Hard on the outside soft on the inside when you give a level 1 high level armor and weapons.
