What roles can druids play in TBC endgame pve

So I am planning on playing my druid in tbc and I was wondering what role they can fill in endgame, are they still only healers really viable for pve or can other specs hold their own in a raid setting.

Great tanks, okay DPS, great healers.

Boomie isn’t a hot trash meme anymore, you actually bring useful buffs/debuffs and do okay dps.

They fill every role in tbc. They can tank/heal/boomkin/and feral dps if they want.

Have fun

Literally any spec.

Resto? Cool

Feral Dps? Sure

Feral Tank? Great

Moonkin? Yes

They can even fill that ever-elusive bandage spec…

You’re welcome.

To expand a bit:

Resto Druids are excellent tank healers. They are really suited for that with their HoT’s rotation. In TBC, HoT’s stack and buff limits are not as much an issue.

Feral Druid tanks are extremely strong in the last tiers of raids. So much so that in real TBC they buffed Sunwell because druid tanks could almost become “unhittable” with massive dodge values. What this means for you is that if you want to play a bear, you’ll likely be an OT until you’re highly geared, then you will likely become the MT. The other thing is feral dps is generally much higher than prot warrior dps, so you have the value of being a good dps when not tanking.

Feral dps is stronger early, and tapers out late. You bring a nice healing and crit buff to the melee dps, meaning you are a valuable asset to the raid. The other thing to note is feral dps and tanking specs are very similar and you can modify your dps spec without losing much damage to satisfy the raids need for an OT. Feral druids are perfectly capable of “topping” the dps meter, but it’s a much more micro intensive class.

And boomkins…
Well they actually do good damage. Not meter topping, but also not a joke like in classic. And you bring that spell hit buff on FF. And you have boomkin aura. Every raid is going to want a boomkin.

Every one of them except mono cat, which is memey
