RNG in the kit or just generally non-predictable gameplay, off-global abilities being weaved in a lot, mobility being used for the rotation, no buttons being ignored regardless of target count, lots of abilities in general, lots of procs and ability-ability synergy going off…
What fits that best?
I want the least amount of muscle memory possible, and the lowest downtime pushing 1-2 buttons waiting for CDs / resources.
Did you try preservation evoker? Not too many off global abilities but the rest seems to fit

It really sounds like you’re describing Mage to me. Specifically Sunfury Fire Mage.
Sunfury Fire Mage is the 2nd highest APM in the game right now according to SimC.
It has zero-GCD weaving mechanics with Fire Blast.
It is a very proc-heavy reactive playstyle.
Hypothermia is a RNG window that changes up your gameplay.
Sun Kings Blessing is trackable but still changes up the gameplay loop.
Going into melee range to CC / Shifting Power is also a change up in the typical ranged architecture.
If you’re good, you’re using Shimmer in your rotation which you could consider rotational mobility (although it’s not mobility damage like DH/Monk has)
Alternating between Scorch and Fireball can keep you on your toes.
Ability synergy is pretty much the entire kit. It all works off of itself. Damage for crits, crits make procs, procs lead to more crits, which generates more procs.
And visually there’s just a ton going on.
Outlaw Rogue is extremely proc dependent
Feral druid.
Fury Warrior… it’s carpal tunnel inducing. VERY spammy and the rotation is very simple, I like warriors but I just can’t do it because of my poor hands and arms warrior is very straight forward as well (and more fun imo)
But… you might wanna try demon hunter as well, mobility for days and a simple rotation, very active gameplay.
Play any class you want and use the one button rotation.
That’s what he -doesn’t- want. He’s looking for the most complex.
The one button rotation can be as complex as you want it to be
Maybe Enchancement Shaman. Sounds tricky to me.
any spec or role is active. depends more on the content u do and if ur a good player or not. good player will press button, bad player do not.

I’m going to make the assumption that someone mocked him for playing a hunter and he decided he’d show them – by playing the most opposite class/spec in the whole world (of warcraft).
(I’m not saying hunters are basic, just that other people say that; I actually think ret is way more basic than bm)

I haven’t played fire mage with a lot of gear, but at lower gear levels it seems to have a lot of downtime with no procs or anything, and you end up pushing fireball a lot fishing for crits.
Does that happen with better gear too?
