In the EU interview with Ion, there was a section about gear that is no longer obtainable. A lot of what comes to mind for me at least is everything that got removed with the Cata revamp.
I didn’t start playing until Cataclysm myself, and I was pretty young during vanilla-WotLK, I didn’t even know about the world re-vamp and all the things they removed until late Cata or possibly MoP.
While the MoP/WoD challenge mode transmogs and Mage Tower weapons may be on most peoples minds, what are some other transmogs you’d like to see make a return somehow?
I know personally, I’d love to see Benediction/Anathema or Rhok’Delar make a return in a way, either with their original appearances or something more updated.
I’m pretty hyped at the thought of older transmogs possibly making a return, so I wanted to see what other items may be on people’s wish lists! 
Did the Defias leather set ever make a comeback?
They warned us it would be gone but I didn’t listen at the time.
Also, I doubt it will happen, but I would love that prelaunch retint of the paladin Judgement set that, I believe, was available for all armor types. Would love that for a disc priest. Or my dwarves.

I have a druid and id really like that MOP challenge mode set - At the time I think it came out i wasn’t really thinking about it or maybe i wasn’t at level. But that set is so nice.

Might get some hate for this but I wouldn’t mind seeing MoP and WoD CM gear return. I’d even do the challenges to get them, but I’ve made my peace with them not returning, so it’s nbd if they don’t make the cut.

Atiesh. From what I remember, it was extremely difficult to get even in TBC, and unlocking it was removed altogether when they recycled Naxxramas for WotLK. Almost nobody really had the chance to go back and farm to get it.

I also wish i got the resto - mage tower staff with the owl. I came into Legion a little late so wouldn’t have been ready for it.
the defias leather set is obtainable by outlaw rogues at a somewhat secret vendor in Deadmines. I don’t remember when they added it but its been back for a minute now
