So I dug out my 62 Resto Druid.
Did some follower dungeons:
Rejuv here or there and occasionally a Regrowth. Never really felt pressured unless I made a mistake then did a slight scramble to heal.
But it was FUN!
DId some quests. Kill a mob, rejuv, MAYBE a Regrowth to top things off after the fight.
Again it was fun.
Now Im 71 doing quests and using LB, Rejuv, Germination JUST TO MAINTAIN MY HEALTH WHILE FIGHTING.
This is silly, stupid and lazy balancing. I shouldnt have to spam 4-5 abilities for 2 minutes JUST TO KILL A QUEST MOB (exaggerating on time but sure feels like it) Im not asking for insta kill but currently its:
Wraith, wraith (hit starsurge), MB/SB, wraith, star surge, wraith wraith wraith, starsurge, mob almost dead. LB, Rejuv, Germination, wraith wraith MIGHT be dead
Just 2 levels ago it was: Wraith, Wraith (starsurge) couple more wraiths, mob dead cast Rejuv to top off.
I know theres a “prime” rotation but I shouldnt have to jump hurdles to quest. Proper rotation and execution should only factor in group content
Another silly notion.
Last week on my 600 Lock, Zekvir paid me a visit in a delve. He pretty much slaughtered me. I wasnt fighting any groups just preparing to go hands on when he popped… Yesterday he surprised me in a delve on my 480 Druid, again I wasnt prepared but I chased him away AFTER killing the group I pulled.
Why is scaling like this? I should be more powerful as I get higher tier. The same exact mob was chased away by a Batman tv series henchman but squashed a Kingpin Boss? Seriously?
