Its simple, what race is good for paladin.
Probabaly human for the mace spec and bonus spirit. Also the memes. If you ever visit GD, male human paladins are the ultimate meme
Blood elf for sure.
Dwarf is better if you think you want to 5 man tank⊠but Paladins donât tank in Classic. They âcanâ.
Also pick any race you damn please. UNLESS youâre literally min/maxing you have nothing to worry about. Seriously.
âgoodâ? sure, human I guess
âpreferred, intended, superiorâ dwarf obvs
Pallies are superior tanks in the UD instances, mediocre in DM and other non-UD dungeons.
Human - get rep faster
dwarf - better defensive racial for pvp and tanking, and some pve
I excluded + weapon skill since you wonât raid as ret, unless you find a very very very casual guild.
Iâd recommend Gnomes, but it wouldnât be a very good recommendation.
With all of the trolls out of the way: Dwarfs. Their stone form is amazing. People say humans for spirit but with âmana back on critâ, paladins donât need spirit.
Human for the weapon skill, rep+, and sexiest body for tier 2
How do dwarves get their stone form (Iâm a noob)
They see naughty pictures and suddenly âstone formâ.
(Itâs their racial ability).
Very true. For PVP especially for capping flag, Paladins are already âtanksâ in pvp as is but stone form would make you very viable for flag cap in certain situations.
Female Dwarf with flying pigtails.
Paladinâs are great 5 man tanks. Donât listen to the naysayers.
And in all honesty, pick the guy you can stand looking at for 30 days played. I donât like human run animations and everyone knows dwarves are the master race of the Alliance.
Stoneform is a racial ability akin to will of the forsaken. It roves bleeds, poisons, diseases (I think) and blinds and you are immune to them for 6 or 8 seconds. Also you get a 10% armor increase I believe. Basically a big middle finger to rogues.
It is their natural racial they get from level 1
I read someone state that the +5 to a weapon skill for some races doesnât effect raids. Like thereâs a cap. Like to hit and critical chances are same as not having the bonus.
Whatâs true? Was I that way in Vanilla? Is it just that way in Classic? Anyone know?
The +5 letâs you get to the caps faster, allowing you to not need to take that sword that gives +hit, but a different sword that has better stats. You will still be hit capped, but do more damage than your neighbor who is hit capped through gear alone.
Personal preference PvP go Dwarf. PvE go either Human or Dwarf.
Personally, prefer Human.
Naga for the +5 stealing bikes skill
How DO they pedal those things?
