You can never go wrong with human or orc for pvp, their racials are top notch for that.
For pve I like worgen/goblin for their mobility racial or night elf for shadowmeld.

This race my friend. Zandalari are so versatile in whatever class they play. Their regeneration ability is useful as a DK due to no out of combat healing as a baseline, and their ability to choose what loa they have enables you to do a variety of things.
Plus free goblin glider, and the race looks amazing in plate.

Worgen because dks need all the help they can get when it comes to movement cooldowns. Worgen get that racial sprint ability.
I definitely agree with the people saying goblin or worgan. The deathknight no matter what spec lacks mobility. But in the end I would say just play what you would like to see yourself as!

Blood Elf master race
Since I’m BoS build, I actually love the BE active racial, its a boost of RP when you’re at risk of running out during BoS, and the CD lines up nicely.
The 1% base crit is also cool.

Agreed with this
alot of folks will say worgen are bad for pvp but as a dk you get more mobility with worgens racial sprint and dk are quite slow and easily kite fodder. For pve same thing plus we get reduction in shadow damage taken which seems to becoming more and more apperent of late with all the baddies we been fighting.
