What race do you want playable the most?

I would have liked the Saberon, but pretty sure that ship has sailed. Or sunk, or whatever.

Gnome druids.

The laywers of Disney will prevent thatā€¦

thatā€™s fine. Humans, including the Void/Blood Elves, are overplayed and take away from the fantasy part. If you play WoW just to play yourself in perfect, then so be itā€¦

Gnolls, just to be gnoll shaman. Thatā€™d be fire. Horde tho, wouldnā€™t fit alliance at all.

We agree on something. First time for everything.

No ogres in WOD was a super missed opportunity.

Vrykul as an allied race would be dope. Iā€™d make another warrior or some kind of sorceress

i might have cared what you thinkā€¦ if you werent a goblin.

It does not matter. The difference between you and I is simply that I chose to not be a human, which I can be in RL already.

New race: ogre
Allied race: saberon

Both Horde only.

Both factions have access to two options of playable High Elves when creating characters.

  • Horde has Blood Elves (the original High Elves who chose to remain loyal to Quelā€™Thalas) and Nightborne (High Elves who lived in Suramar before the Sundering and the Legion Invasion)
  • Alliance has Void Elves (who are just Blood Elves banished from Quelā€™Thalas for experimenting with the Void). And Night Elves have ā€œHigh Elfā€ skin color and appearance options taking up pretty much the entire left side of the character creation menu options when lore wise the ones not allied to Quelā€™Thelas returned to the main NE society and taught them arcane magic again. Also, many ā€œHigh Elvesā€ were also blue and purple skinned (as seen in the Azshara cinematic and in-game cut scenes about the pre-Nā€™Zoth/Naga days).

Blood Elves, Void Elves, Most Nightborne, and the ones who returned to teach the NEā€™s arcane magic ARE HIGH ELVES.

Still donā€™t get why folks have such a hard time understanding that every elf type in Warcraft is the same race of elves. The only main differences between them are geography, ideology, political affiliation or any combination of the three. High Elf literally just denotes they were just born into the aristocrat/noble families.

TLDR: We already have 4 iterations of playable High Elf. 2 for each faction.

Ogres in WoD were one of the primary antagonists to both factions. Why would either side recruit them during that period?

Remember when their excuse was Tuskarr canā€™t live in warm weather? Now thereā€™s some chilling in Tanaris for the anniversaryā€¦

Enough reskins. Tuskarr, Ogres, and Murlocs for all.

They couldā€™ve made a faction of them thatā€™s against the other groups, like Ogriā€™la in BC. Doesnā€™t really matter though. They cut all the Gorian Empire Ogre content for a selfie patch.

Makes way more sense to just have the playable ones be from Ogriā€™la. They didnā€™t stop existing after TBC was finished

That too. I was talking about in the context of AU Draenor. Ogriā€™la hadnā€™t discovered the crystals yet there. The crystals appeared after the destruction of the planet.

They could also just use the Ogres that are already part of Horde in the lore: Stonemaul.

Donā€™t really have any. Iā€™m honestly fine with what we got. I guess something nice to look at maybe. Course itā€™s Blizzard and I prefer anime aesthetic so yea. Thatā€™s not happening.
