So, it looks like the Scourge are being controlled by the Jailor’s forces rather than just being feral.
I’m quietly relieved about this since I am still not over how screamingly stupid the end of ICC was. Like - seriously? The Scourge is now MORE dangerous because we killed the Lich King? That doesn’t even come within orbit of being logical. This guy’s stated purpose was to scour all life from the face of Azeroth and you’re telling me he apparently held the Scourge back? For what just, sportsmanship?
Also - you’d think Azeroth could clear up just a directionless zombie throng in a long weekend, if that. That’s barely daily quest level trouble compared to the sort of threats we put down regularly.
Bah.
Well obviously I’m glad it seems the Scourge being under new management is why they’re a threat again. That makes much more sense.
But what WHY?! moment would you like the plot to just quietly ignore as it waddles along?
Thrall and Aggra, Jaina and Kalecgos, the Legion spanning infinite timelines, Bolvar post-LK swearing fealty to his-awesomeness Anduin, Calia’s existence, Sira Moonwarden’s existence, undead night elves swearing allegiance to Sylvanas.
Edit: I would retcon Sylvanas’ entire BfA and EoN arc if I could but that seems like much more than a single plot point
yeah i think blizz themselves realized how little sense there must always be a lich king made and are going back to explore it
what i never understood is if bolvar controls them couldnt he run them off a cliff or into a fire or whatever
Idk. Him dating a human farm girl that was, uh, The Sunwell, remains the most bewildering thing in WoW to me. If I had to pick just one Kale subplot to never speak of again - it’d be that one.
The death of Rastakan. He should just show up in Dazar’alor without the head-dress on and he just stepped down so Talanji could rule instead or something.
Shoot. Frost DKs period if your going that way. DKs should of only had two Specs like DHs.
Frost could of been a specialty talents within the regular trees but something about Frost as spec doesn’t sit right with me.
Before The Storm, and the story where Sylvanas convinced Saurfang of War.
I just really hate how BTS changed things with undercity going suddenly too an authoritarian state that forbids talking or caring about your past life etc. Also calia was really really dumb in that book.
I don’t care how convincing Sylvanas might have been imo saurfang and others should of said No! We don’t want war especially after the universes greatest enemy was just beaten (The Legion) This is the prime time to throw away all past grievances and start making amends towards each other.
I’ve written at length how much I hate BtS. I actually had to rewrite my own damn story because Benedikt being a political dissident - something I had no reason to believe would make him persona non grata in the ‘anything goes’ Forsaken society- suddenly became outright suicidal. Had to hastily move him to Thunderbluff.
Honestly though, while we’re well past that point, I wish Edge of Night was just ignored forever. Slyvanas going from
The Banshee Queen yells: Now is the time to shake the world to its foundations! NOW is the time to remind those who would enslave us that we shall never yield!
The Banshee Queen yells: NOW is the time of the Forsaken! Power to the Forsaken - NOW AND FOREVER!!!

The heaving mass of undead clapped and coughed and hacked gleefully in assent. Sylvanas regarded the whole mob coldly. And so are you, she thought to herself. Arrows I will aim at Arthas’s heart.
Remains the biggest middle finger I think w fictional book ever gave me.
“Haha, jokes on you loser. The character we characterised as the champion of your favorite faction actually thinks they’re all disposable tools”.
The Desolate Council murders. I actually thought they were good for the Forsaken. Not going to go for something big because obviously Teldrassil and similar stuff can’t be forgotten.
