Besides the things we know that were buffed during this event, what other things in the older content did you get to drop, that was a pleasant surprise?
I’ll start with two big ones for me…
Rae’shalare, Death’s Whisper dropped for me on a warlock alt that can’t use it (actually 3 dropped) when working on getting Vengeance. And I was pretty stoked to find out that it was added to my transmog list, so now my Forsaken hunter is rocking the appearance.
When running Nighthold (for more times than I care to mention), my mage received the hidden artifact appearance, The Stars’ Design. Now I’m going to do the other requirements to unlock the other colors for this one. I think I can still do that, maybe you guys can confirm.
So what did you guys get?

Krastinov’s Bag of Horrors from heroic Scholomance, huge win for me as a crafter of all things. The questline it kicks off is pretty epic, like a treasure hunt. I got to unlock old Scholomance, and entered the Great Ossuary for the first time since 2008. Major old school feels.
Next is a timed run of Stratholme to get a permanent Argent Dawn commission. I’m just so happy for the whole thing. Better than any mount.

Since I only needed the mount from the Jailer from the event. I spent by time getting transmogs from dungeons. Currently trying to get the rare epic bow from Gate of the Setting Sun. Got the rare epic sword from Mogu’shan Palace yesterday. I was really unlucky during MoP remix.
Rest of the mogs I need from dungeons are either zone drops, drops from rares or drops from BFA mythics. Two of those three are not buffed by the event in any shape or form.
I really didn’t push mount hunting too much. I did take the additional loot drop to get apperances I wanted, though.
I got the gun from Heroic Uldur, which matches my mog pretty well!
Morchie’s gun continues to evade me.
Got the hearthstone from Nighthold which was kinda cool.
And 9 legendary bows off sylvannas before seeing either mount drop which was not quite as cool.
All in all though this event has been great for me

3,000 different appearances across from the various dungeons and raids. Trash through Epic.
And a fragment of Val’anyr… have to decide if I want to run Ulduar enough times to complete the legendary.
The last thing I needed was the drake from Vortex Pinnacle, and along the way I checked and saw that Ishak was up and got the Drake of the Four Winds

I was lucky to get the golden hearthstone card too, very cool toy.

I’m pretty bitter that they didn’t buff the drop rate of fragments of val’anyr. I’ve been going back into Ulduar for them, even though I got the mount.
My targeted mounts obtained:
- Invincible (numerous attempts since Wrath, obtained 2nd week of the event with 8 toons)
- Midnight (Legion) (obtained 2nd week of Collector’s Bounty event)
- Ny’alotha Allseer (obtained 3rd week with 6 toons)
- Cartel Master’s Gearglider (4th attempt on Heroic)
Surprise drops:
- Deathcharger’s Reins (Timewalking dungeon runs)
- Shackles of Ur’zul *(attempting to obtain the red Scythe of the Unmaker)
Overall, pretty happy with the drops. Ny’alotha Allseer is my new favorite mount. It’s so good looking. I love it. Good luck to everyone else!! Don’t give up!!

I did more mog runs than I can count. Several raids on multiple difficulties(including LFR).
Probably gained 500+ new mog options.
I got 11 legendary bows while farming normal before getting the quiver transmog lel

I got everything on the loot table from Dragonsoul H 25, including enough tokens for every class armor set. Not. One. Mount. Bleh.
Edit: I guess I’m missing a pet too, black puddle.

The event made me realize I want the Mechagon Peacekeeper, but then I realized they have Junkyard inaccessible because Workshop is in the pool. So I soloed Dawn of the Infinite a couple times, got one of the rare tmog appearances.
That place takes too long to solo though because you have to do it on a healer/prot Pally.
It’s currently the only way to get the Peacekeeper mount.
I’m curious, how was this for solo-ing? I haven’t gotten around to farming/doing attempts on that one
Antorus the Burning Throne (ATBT) Mythic isn’t bad whatsoever. It’s pretty trivial. The ONLY boss that’s annoying is Eonar, The Life-Binder which is required to continue to the other bosses past The Exhaust. Soloing her is tedious and you have to teleport to the ship, click on the 4 beam crystals, hop out and hopefully you don’t run out of time or get caught being blasted in the sky by a Arcane crystal debuff. If you successfully make it back to Eonar and defeat the mobs trying to kill her, you’ll be golden after that. Once you get used to the mechs, it’s pretty easy for pretty much any class.
I won’t say you’ll get it on your first attempt solo, I pretty much had 3 solid attempts even at level 80 on multiple toons to get used to soloing Eonar. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t do it the 1st try. The more you attempt it and learn, the BETTER off you will be for you and your alts going through it. And there’s also some good YouTube vids on how to solo Eonar. Good luck to ya!
