What % of players have over 1 million gold?

I had 1mil when BFA ended…but since SL has been out I been spending on alts and such so now I’m a little less than 260k. I have never had enough gold to buy the auction mount tho…that has always been out of my reach! Most of my money went to stupid heirlooms. And heirlooms is expensive!

I think you can get lucky on some mounts and get that, but yeah I don’t have it cause it’s usually spent for raid stuff, repairs, and maybe a power leveling a profession

I’m surprised by the number of poor people in this thread. I mostly play 1 character (altho I maintained upwards of 4 characters in the past), I raid and do a lot of m+ (costs a fortune), and I don’t really try to actively make gold. I just run mission tables, callings, Korthia, and other regular activities. I have about 2m gold between all my chars.

over the course of 8.3 made 14 Million gold participating in M+ and raid carry groups. i still have 2 Mil of that.

:oncoming_police_car: careful of these type of surveys, the dude might be fishing for accounts to rob.

I feel like you’re a goblin IRL.

I don’t do that.

Me either.

I do those sometimes.

I’ve been there before, but I don’t really understand the point of Korthia. I keep hearing it’s an anima paradise and I never get any anima there.

Do you have the Brutosaur too?

I don’t know how to describe my habit in real terms… lets just say I have weighted priorities…

As early as the day I started playing WoW in early BC, I realized I couldn’t really afford shopping the AH. It was enough expensive just keeping a full quarrel… yeppers, elf hunter here, and arrows were expensive enough.

That’s what started my altoholism… a tailor for cloth, bandages, 16 slot bags… obvious enchanter… needed an alchemist too… jewels came in handy…

And obviously, as the expansions rolled by, I filled in the gaps… by the end of wrath, I had all crafts covered. A self made barter system.

Legion, and it’s class halls, gave me cause to add more toons, to cover all classes…

so, back to gold… during BFA, well I started cutting back on toons, and well we know some crafts ain’t what they used to be… it became better to buy from the AH again, rather than keep a near useless craft up to date.

SO there you have it… I run a self made barter system, using gold to fill in a few items… I average ball park 400-500k… but alot of that is cross faction. Alliance side right now, more like 300k…

I could have the million, just more of doing the same, and that’s the hitch… weighted priorities, enough gold means less time crafting/ah, more time adventuring, leveling alts.

probably 90% or more. just about everyone is loaded.

No, I’ve never had anywhere near enough to buy a Brutosaur. I don’t consider myself rich, but I’m surprised at people who have 100k or less. You make more than that in a couple of weeks on 1 char in Shadowlands.

At time of this posting: 42%. Exactly.

Lol, next to auctionhousers, that’s like bordering homelessness xD

I mean … making gold is pretty easy if you are actually taking the time to go do some stuff.

I think part of the issue is that no one has “free” time anymore in-game because Blizzard keeps filling it up with stupid grinds (the maw, korthia, etc.).

But if you truly wanted to make gold - you can just go farm some pretty easily. How many people sitting on 20k-50k are actually taking the time to do so though?

I just take it as it comes. I don’t farm it or give much attention to the AH.

EVERY WUN HAZ UNLIMUTED GOLD CUZ WOW TOKINZ! hurr dis mej towur and all tings be gud for gaym cuz many token wow sales

Well, for one thing this is originally from two years ago.
But since I started playing again, just before SL launched, I’ve got over a million gold in my guild bank. Not even counting the stuff like Grand Expedition Yaks and other 25K - 50K mounts and things I’ve bought since then. I’m not even trying to make money. I got a new character that hit 60 a couple of days ago, and I look, and he’s got 20K gold in his bags just from doing quests and vendoring stuff.

Do you not do callings? Those are 20k+ a week on their own.

At this point, my main and alts are not doing callings… weighted priorities, callings don’t offer alot for the time spent…

My main is 80 renown, bumps my alts to 40 renown…

Right now, my main, and 3 alts just sit on Korthia, cherry picking from the dailies each day, before I get back to leveling another alt to 60. yes, I am still doing weeklies, but not the daily callings.

I’d like the main up into the 230ish ilvl, and the alts 210 - 220 ilvl, before 9.2 hits, making it all obsolete… for me, I’m looking to 10.0 I gave up on Shadowlands back in January.

Callings are 20k+ gold a week for about an hour to an hour and a half of work (per week). No more efficient way to make gold.
