What % of *accounts* have Keystone Hero/2500IO

There’s maybe 8.5 million active subscriptions at once

RaiderIO lists 161,302 characters with 2500 IO

1.5M chars have completed at least one timed dungeon (+2)

To say that 10.4% (161K/1.5M) of players can get KSH would be an oversimplification and gross overstatement.

QUESTIONS:

  1. Is it possible for a character to clear a timed dungeon and not show up in raiderIO because they don’t have the RaiderIO add-on installed? Or is that now the site gets its data?

  2. we have to factor in that toons =/= accounts i.e. some amazing players have multiple toons in the higher brackets, but they should only count as one person. To use a proxy, it might be helpful to know : how many toons the average account has?

  3. Factor in that some people never got to end game

  4. And of the toons in end game, some of them never tried a dungeon. So what percentage of chars are even max level 70?

This is just a wet finger in the air, and #s are subject to inflate by end of Season, but I’m thinking it might be 100K players operating 160K toons, so 100K out of 8.5M active subscriptions = roughly 1.2%. Thoughts?

Yes, you are very speshul if you get Keystone Hero.

I think that’s what you were looking for in a very roundabout way.

Guild tag says it all.

I’m using https://www.dataforazeroth.com/stats/summary for the numbers:
Worldwide, 2,984,190 characters, of which 32.6% are lvl 70
Owned by 1,132,646 accounts - roughly half are EU and bit less than half are US, small number from rest.
of which 13.1442% have season one keystone hero.
So 148,877 accounts have it.

Make of that whatever you want.

You also need to remember that’s it’s quite early in the season.

This number will blow out very soon.
