What names did you not get?

I was really trying to get “Bones” as an Undead Priest, and “Bank”. Didn’t get either of them!

What names did you attempt for, yet failed miserably?

I had a list of about 30 names that I kinda wanted, and then of course I had my one name that I’ve used for 15 years that I NEEDED. Didn’t get a single one of them but somehow managed to get “Warm” (on the wrong effing server of course). Really puts a damper on my hype for Classic, especially not getting MY name, y’know? But whatever, I’ll just randomize I guess.

I was able to get a variation on my name. Couldn’t get Vex but I got Veqx which is what I usually use when Vex is taken. Still kinda sad tho.

Did not get Marmot on Pagle.

(Did get Marmot on Mankrik, however.)

I couldn’t get proxy. On any pvp server. I got Theproxy, but that’s just not the same. This whole thing has been kind of a fiasco.

I got all of the names I wanted after not being able to log in for 40 minutes.

To be fair, my names were always pretty obscure to begin with, but with 8 years of history on retail WoW, it was possible someone might have tried to snipe me.

No one did though, and now I’m all ready for Classic… funnily enough, I’m not going to be going by Urivial on Classic anyways. Just wanted to get the name so that no one could impersonate me xD

I like the number seven, so I tried Seven. I actually got it! But it was on the wrong server. So I deleted it (I was at the limit) and went to another server. It was taken there. Then I went back, reluctantly, and it was taken there too. RIP me. Should have just left it.

But I got the two names I wanted most- Kerguelen and Yellowstone! (My main is Kerguelen on everything, and I like Yellowstone.) Apparently “Pathfinder” is on the nope list in Classic as well as current, so I just did what I did here and took the Chinese version Tanluzhe.

Nice, Lit was on my list as well but at the end of the day I really just wanted Vex and I hate that I missed out on it due to the super long queue/constant crashes.

I chose Bloodsail as my realm, but during a disconnect my launcher decided I should really play on Ateish. I created my characters not knowing that I made them on the wrong server.

that sucks, I was logged into both of them when realms came up and just waited for the realms to appear. Got them all on Herod also.

After being stuck in queue for over 20 minutes, being put on the wrong server, switching to the right server for 5 more minutes, having name already taken, and then disconnecting before even being able to try a second name?

Nah, no thanks Bliz. Name reservations are pointless if you lose because of the servers.
