The Trolls should be the next major class since it will fit on many people
With recent story events in BFA, I could see a mail-wearing Dark Ranger hero class (Nothing wrong with hero classes in my opinion, there are only two, a third wouldn’t be a big deal) that’s available to humans and night elves on Alliance, undead and blood elves on the Horde.
It could have three specs, a ranged (not caster, but hunter-like ranged) DoT based DPS spec that uses ranged weapons, a healer spec that utilizes buff-granting (such as granting leech, increasing movement speed, etc.) and HoTs to help the party/raid, and a dual wielding tank spec that focuses on damage absorb shields they get by dealing damage (similar to how disc priest heals by dealing damage, instead it’d be tanking by dealing damage).
It’d be an interesting class… I’ve been saying I could see both Tinkerer as people’ve been suggesting and Dark Ranger added in the next expansion. Tinkerer as a level 1 (or 20 for allied races) starting class, and Dark Ranger as a hero class that starts at a higher level.
Another leather wearing melee class would be ideal.
i dont know why people keeps justifing to be a copy of the king of the gnomes, roll gnome, roll enginering as profession, and do a lot of rockets and remote control toys if you want, all of that can be achieved expanding the enginering profession, i mean is not needed an entire class for that.
do you know what weapon we havent seen? a whip!! a castlevania class?

I would be fine with new specs for existing classes. a light based caster spec for priest or paladin, new mage spec focused on time magic, etc
I didnt read all the options and opinions in this thread but if I had to vote I would call for cloth/mail bard. At the very least a dps/healer but if anyone can work out a cloth or mail tank that would be great.
No other class ever … as they can’t balance the existing classes .

The class I’d love to see the most would be a spell breaker.
Could be a mail wearing battle-mage type class. Dual wielding supplemented with arcane magic in a DPS. Sword and board, arcane supplemented tank spec.
I’d play the s**t out of that.
I’m not sure Blizzard will ever release a new class that starts at level one. They kind of dug themselves a big hole with Legion because a new class would require a Legion Artifact and class hall and there is no way they are adding something to an old expansion. Any new class they add will start at 110+ to avoid Legion.
Needs to be ranged only, far too crowded in the melee world already.
Are they a ranged class? No.
Are they Necromancers? No.
WoW’s take on a Necromancer is called a Necromancer.

no tinker we already have something like that we need a 2nd cloth class maybe for tanking with shields or high dodge or a 2hd cloth battle mage.
I want a mail wearing battlemage type class. Give it a melee tank spec focused around defensive barriers, a melee DPS spellblade spec and a ranged caster DPS spec of some sort (maybe a generalist or hybrid caster of some sort, bring back the frostflame concept?)
(Bonus points if one of the melee specs is a duelist-style built around wielding a one-handed weapon and a hideable offhand)

necromancer=demo lock tinker=gnome hunter with engineering.
we dont have a 2hd cloth tank or 2hd cloth battle mage.
There is no niche left for a necromancer to fill. Demo summons waves of adds, Unholy raises undead. What does a necromancer to then? I’d be all for a Dark Druid type of necromancer but that is Diablo territory.
