What Mouse? Replacing my G600

My G600 finally died today. i have used nothing but those since the first one came out many moons ago,…since they are very hard to find and most have a price tag of over $300… well

Anyone that used G600 and/or uses those side buttons (12 of them) constantly as I do, any advice on a mouse that comes close to the G600?

Thanks in advance.

I haven’t found one that has that second right click button (I think people call it a tab click or something?). So I continually searched Ebay for weeks and finally found a G600 and a G600t as backups. The G600t is the Japanese version, but still works the same with no issues.

Bro you just told everyone you use the auto press cheesy logitech mouse.

You can’t get a more cheesy replacement than that. lol

i have the 502x plus and its good has 2 buttons on the side and a dpi switch on one side or other you can pick

He needs the mouse with 12 buttons so he can program it to press talents with it.

I have a Naga - it maps directly to my 1 through = keys. It, and similar mice were literally designed with MMOs in mind. So, what’s your point? Moving your thumb to a set of buttons on the side of a mouse is no different than moving your fingers to keys on a keyboard.

Which Naga?

No idea what your issue is… I just prefer the buttons on the side… sheesh

Corsair Scimitar Elite is pretty decent

The X. It’s performed rather well, and the scroll wheel has held up better than my old Razer mouse, though I forget the model name.

Nobody knows what his issue is. Just ignore whatever that was. He doesn’t seem to understand how a 12 button mouse works.

Does it have that second right click button? Logitech has it mapped to tab.

That it doesn’t. Though I can see how that would be a great feature for WoW.

Yeah man… I used that for every game, thanks for reminding me… I need to just bite the bullet and pay for it. They do last a long time.

Sad. That’s the button I really need. :frowning:

The G600t does tend to be a little cheaper. I hope you can find a decently priced one. It’s getting harder and harder. :frowning:

I got tired of my Logitech mice dying on me.

Switched to Corsair, 5 years later, no regrets.

Corsair M65 has been ok, but ICUE software is an unreasonable PITA to do button remapping. The settings are stored on the computer never on the device itself, so the crap software always has to be running. Also the middle mouse button has completely failed after ~2y.

Trying a Razer Basilisk next. Gotta have the 3 thumb buttons, mapping them to ctrl, alt, and esc has been so useful even outside of games.

Evidently Logitech got around that by making mousepads with wireless chargers embedded in them (kind of like chi charging for phones). Neat tech, but kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless mouse.

Bro I’ve had 4 wired logtech headphones break and 1 wireless logitech set of headphones stop charging…

I went and bought skullcandy. no issue in over a year!

vertical mouse

Ew no.

Vertical mice SOUND like a good idea. But resting the weight of your hand on a pinky constantly is really terrible. They need some kind of finger-divider fin that you can hang your middle finger on and have that be the weight support while index & ring are clickers.

Also it’s much more awkward to switch between mouse and typing for work stuff which is the whole place they’re supposed to shine.
