What are some of the easier mounts to farm for horde.

I mean if your going for quickness the old Karazhan raid mount. There is a portal to go there directly from Broken Isle Dalaran and its off the first boss (as in you can just run one without having to do others beforehand). So it would make it the fastest to do on alts I imagine.

This is a rather broad question.

Easiest place to begin I suppose would be the factions. Farm the rep for the horde facations, then all the reps that have mount rewards at exalted. Cenatrion rep, Netherwing, Wyrmrest, etc.

At the same time hit the dungeon drops and also work on achievements from rather, Cata, Mists and Warlords.

Wowhead has some really good guides for mount farming.

I would think the easiest mount farm would be the ones with 100% drop rate - the two under Wyrmrest Temple. You just can’t get them both on the same toon in the same week.

Really depends on what is meant by easy. The Argent tournament ones are easy if your willing to do the dailies in theory since they are straight purchasable.

I’ve been farming Nalak on Isle of Thunder. But the world boss mounts are extremely rare. Took me less than 300 to get the Sha mount, because I was lucky, but have been grinding on my 26 alts each week a while for Nalak.

Hehe, tell me about it! Helps with farming but certainly not with my sanity, trust me, I’m crazy. Also yeah any 120s that have the ilevel of like 320+ can do well in soloing mythic Kara for that mount too.

I hope I get that lucky. :slightly_frowning_face: I’ve been hitting all 4 MoP bosses 32 times a week. Nothing so far.

I have all my alts that are high enough camped outside old kara for that mount. Hoping i get his Legion counterpart a lot quicker than this one has been taking.

Sad thing is I don’t really like the Fiery Warhorse. Remind menofbthe HH mount but w/o flight. At this point though it is the principle of it. If I let one slide then all the other dungeons will think it is cool and not drop theirs.

You could always come to the Alliance side and farm for horses. I mean, we have lots of horses! Any kind of horse you want! You can farm all 58 Alliance factions, and each one has a horse reward. Soon in 8.1 you can also get… a Kul Tiran horse!

Get exalted with the sons of hodir. Its really easy and you get 2 mounts there. Also you can do glory of the raider (which is also 2 mounts) in about an hour or so if you have a good game plan before starting.

There are too many damn horses. Although it might be payback for Warlords and all the silly wolves.

Which ones do you want?

Easy are racial mounts.

I don’t know if the Un’Goro raptor quest is still in the game, but that was easy, just time-consuming.

I feel bad for you. :frowning: I’m 2/4 MoP mounts, both dropped in under 10 kills. But I get the distinct feeling the Sha will give me the middle finger for a while since I only have one alt.

Got Mimiron’s Head on my first kill with an alt, 6th kill total. Onyxia’s mount also on the first try ever (Yes, I got screenshots), Nightbane’s mount on the first try, and the new Midnight on my third kill total.

A’lar is still giving me the finger and that one, I’ve farmed for ages even before I quit back in Cata. I doubt I’ll ever see it.

Best-looking horse in the game, don’t care what anyone else says. Really worth the farming.
