Its just as much if not more about the right corruptions. None of it feels rewarding

I look at it in terms of health i wouldnt step into high rated arena until about 450k health atleast.

Agreed. Ive been gearing up a mage and he was basiaclly useless until I got him over 400k HP. I just could not survive a single go with low HP.
Also the second someone sees you have low HP they will be comin for that booty asap.

460 ilvl is about the sweet spot where you start to feel useful. It will entirely depend on how good of corruptions you get as well, but playable to 2k at 450ilvl+

Maybe if you’re a blizzcon player… Even1600-2k is full of 470 people it’s crazy.
Pretty much this, my dk feels okay at 455ish but he’s also still pretty low rated.
I kinda wish you could send mementos to alts to level the stupid tech tree faster… Need additional ways to farm corruptions on my alts and without the elite/Titan bonuses it’s pretty slow slogging.

Yeah seriously. It’s about 6-7 weeks before you can start doing decent mask runs on alts. I dunno how it works if someone carries you on 4-5 mask runs though?
- r3 lucid, R3 breath / *R3 vitality if healer
- at least 460+ mostly correct stats
- 460 azerite correct traits (460 still really bad azerite matters for raw hp)
- 12 cape for proc trinket
- claw if caster/spine if melee.
- 480k hp minimum
Prob still will get ran over by geared people at low ratings since game is like 90% gear now adays. Class/spec also plays a role in how much gear you need at lower end. As much as people rail on Gpie not needing gear you need to be tanky/have haste vs rele on mage.
Gpie obv needs less gear than some others, but I think you can get away with worse gear on melee cleaves or double monk x as long as you aren’t overlapping cds since you aren’t really playing for a win condition.
I’d say hpal is prob the only spec that can play with badish gear. Unless you get spited on and have bubble forced in opener, but pally has enough cds to rotate when they aren’t the target.

That’s great and I have also played to 1800+ on my enhance when I was ilvl 450’s, but it’s still not a “good” ilvl to be at imo. Also significantly worse if your partner is also in the same range so your team average ilvl is in the 450’s instead of just 1 person. I’ve seen enough ilvl 475 DH’s at 1600 to know the only reason they lose is because you can kill their ilvl 450 healer instead.

Again if maybe you’re a 2.7 player. Also you have no idea who he’s playing with, could be a 475 dh I’d love to know who that is.
If you’re normally 2.1 and you hop in and try and get even 1800 with 440 good luck. Pikaboo was losing games consistently on his undergeared warrior while playing with a geared rdruid at 1600.
Again one weird random person doesn’t really make a point when the other 99.9% prove it otherwise.
