What might happen to Sylvanas at the end of Shadowlands

Literally my eyes? The one time she wanted something and it was taken away from her was the Legion cinematic with Genn Greymane.
In every other instance she had full agency.
She left because she wanted to, she betrayed because she wanted to, she fought because she wanted to. Her boyfriend died because he wanted to. Anything she wanted she got but what she wanted didn’t always turn out what she thought it would be.

Being told your 15+ year story you tell yourself about yourself is a joke because your soul was shattered doesn’t say much for “agency.”

well that made no sense whatsoever

To put it another way…how is 9.2 a win for Sylvanas? Literally her entire self-mythology was thrown out the window.

did you understand a word i told you or do you lack the capacity to understand it?

You said “she always got what she wanted, but it didn’t turn out the way she thought it would be”.

Okay…in what way did she get what she wanted in 9.1? Did she remake reality the way she wanted?

You are like every other anti-Sylvanas type, your hatred of the character blinds you to the story being told.

so you really do lack the capacity to understand what you are being told.
If you can’t understand plain english or resort to strawmen just to make your point then there is no point to elaborate because you just wont get it.

You know…you could use points and examples, not just berate me. I’m not Grandblade, I do not resort to such low tactics.

Fine I will dumb it down.

Sylvanas wants a magic lamp. She gets it.
Sylvanas wants it to grant her three wishes. She gets it.
Sylvanas makes her wishes. She gets them.
Oups turns out the genie gave her monkey paw wishes. But thats ok, she now realizes that wanting those wishes was wrong and now she is a better person.

Do you understand now?
Meanwhile all this is happening she is causing other people to lose those lamps, the genie, the wishes. Whatever she gets we end up losing and see her smirking as she poofs away until the next patch.

Sylvanas wants to control the Val’kyr, she fails.

Sylvanas wants to kill Anduin and friends and destroy the Alliance at Undercity…she fails.

Sylvanas wants to brainwash Jaina’s brother…she fails.

Sylvanas wants to destroy Stormwind and raise its people…she fails.

Sylvanas wants to remake reality with the Jailer…she fails.

The Sylvanas you have concocted has not been the Sylvanas that the story has presented since at least…at least early BfA. Time to move on and get over it.

see I knew you lacked the capacity to understand it. Hey at least I tried.
The only thing you were right about is the first line.

Oh really? She didn’t want to brainwash Jaina’s brother and use him as a weapon? She didn’t want to remake reality? She didn’t want to destroy Stormwind (Before the Storm, I know you don’t like the novels but one must try to keep up).

Everytime she wants something but didn’t get it was actually her plan all along.

Did she? Who knows but it was she that decided she didn’t want it no more.

Nobody cares about made up objectives in books that never matter in the game.
If you have to resort to book references to find references of Sylvanas getting her face pushed into the pavement like she has done to everyone else… loool. just lol.
Sylvanas fans are the reason this story is like this.

That’s your own delusion, the story does not and has not said that. Not in-game or in the books. That’s straight up Sylvanas Derangement Syndrome.

Unfortunately its reality.
If she wants to kidnap people. She gets to.
If she wants sigils. she gets to. over and over again.
if she wants to mind control andiun. she gets to.
if she wants a faction war. shet gets to.
if she wants to turn NEs undead servants. She gets to.
If she wants to 1v1 tyrande and win. she gets to.
if she wants to betray jailer. she gets to.
if she wants redemption. she gets to.
if she wants gilneas. she gets to.
if she wants to become warchief. she gets to.
if she wants to kill saurfang. she gets to.
if she wants to defeat bolvar and break the helm. she gets to.
if she wants to kill night elves in teldrassil. she gets to.
If she wants to accomplish an objecive. she gets to. Until she changes her mind and jumps to the next objective she gets to.

She is the character that always has the last laugh. She always has agency. She always wins or turns a set back into a planned event that she wanted anyway.

The one time. The only time. She had no agency was when Genn took away her lantern. She wanted it. But she couldn’t get it. Thats it. Thats the only time.
How many times did Sylvanas want something. We fight her for it and we get the prize? The answer is very, very, very rarely.

And if in your crazy world just because Sylvanas didn’t become queen of the universe and remake reality is the indication that she doesn’t have a broken plot armor then just lol.
This brain dead story is tailor made for you.

Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!

That’s what your whining about Sylvanas looks like.

No offense.

EDIT: Shall you do a list of what Anduin gets to do next?

And this is why Sylvanas fans are not worth engaging.
Bye bye Kaleaon.

Your list of points is arbitrary and could literally apply to any character. “She wants to kill Saurfang” really? “She wants to become Warchief”? That’s literally against the canon lore.

“If she wants redemption she gets to”

This is psychosis. Sylvanas is not a real person.

If you followed your lore you would know that is precisely what she wanted to start the Alliance and Horde war so she could put the plans she and the jailer put in motion to happen.

Same reason Teldrassil was not a spurn of the moment decision but rather a pre-planned unavoidable conclusion to her plan. Its like you enjoy being wrong all the time.

Yes she is not. She is a fictional character set in a story that can never be humbled or challenged until she wants to. She is a character that perpetually has agency in whatever she wants… almost all the time.
This creates a very boring and toxic story but it is only convenient for her fans at the cost of everyone else and that is why this story is in shambles.
You people. You are the audience danuser and his associates are catering to.

Anyway for realsies I am done.

Her own internal…internal thoughts…say she did NOT want to be Warchief. Her internal thoughts.

If she wants to kidnap people. She gets to.
Story contrivance
If she wants sigils. she gets to. over and over again.
Because the main character is a moron and so is Bolvar
if she wants to mind control andiun. she gets to.
She doesn’t mind control Anduin, the Jailer does
if she wants a faction war. shet gets to.
The Horde and many of the Horde players and Horde characters, and Alliance for that matter wanted a faction war
if she wants to turn NEs undead servants. She gets to.
Lore says those Night Elves wanted to be Forsaken, probably because they knew what Elune did for the Winter Queen
If she wants to 1v1 tyrande and win. she gets to.
Empowered by the Jailer’s magic of course she won the 1 v. 1 and only because Elune did not want Tyrande to sacrifice herself
if she wants to betray jailer. she gets to.
As opposed to what? He gave her her soul back as a form of punishment
if she wants redemption. she gets to.
Absurd
if she wants gilneas. she gets to.
Garrosh wanted Gilneas and to reduce the Forsaken numbers in a pointless war
if she wants to become warchief. she gets to.
She did not want to be Warchief
if she wants to kill saurfang. she gets to.
Saurfang was a hypocrite and himself a genocider, who wouldn’t want to kill him?
if she wants to defeat bolvar and break the helm. she gets to.
Empowered by the Jailer, the source of Bolvar’s power, not defeating him would have made no sense
if she wants to kill night elves in teldrassil. she gets to.
Her and the entire Kalimdor Horde military apparatus
If she wants to accomplish an objecive. she gets to. Until she changes her mind and jumps to the next objective she gets to.
Not worth responding to

Happy?
