What makes you love your Mac?

Curious as to why you all love your Mac.

For me it is the user experience. The dock, the menu, the apps, it all just makes sense.

I’m not trying to be argumentative but I’ll just note that for some folks the Mac inferface is wildly counter-intuitive.

Yes, yes, that’s obviously a me problem.

Games seem to run smoother on it than my windows beastly desktop IF they work at all.

Seriously, Diablo 4 through Crossover runs better on my Mac in terms of resolution scaling, steady frame rates during gameplay AND cinematics than my Ryzen 9700x3d, RTX 5080 desktop.

Obviously my desktop can push higher settings and stuff than my m3 max laptop ever could even dream of but somehow the frame pacing, the smoothness during cinematics just seems to work much better on my macbook even if I’m plugged into a separate monitor or my TV.

I just wish software support didn’t suck so bad.

Its not windows
thats about it. still a big deal.

No meme the initial feeling was actually similar to getting away from my abusive dad.
Not as a strong of course. But there isn’t this feeling of walking on eggshells or something about to go happen constantly.
My mom talks about after leaving my dad there was this feeling of peace.
Like you’re free now.

Had it for years and can leave it on all day never anything goes wrong runs quiet.

It pays my mortgage and allows me to eat food. But given how WoW’s been behaving on my PC lately I’ve opted to play on my MacBook Pro almost exclusively now, and it runs great.

literally me as well
