if i see another player i usually leave them alone unless theyre a high pvp rank, or a gnome, or they attack me first
If they have a reputation for ganking, especially lowbies. I have always played on PvP servers BUT I am somewhat of a carebear.

I play on a PvP server for PvP. If I see an alliance, I always attack, even if there’s more than one. I enjoy world pvp more than really anything else in the game, so I take advantage of any chance I get.

Completely depends. If I’m just farming, I’m not trying to PvP unless someone tries taking my node. If I’m looking for PvP I attack anything that moves as long as its my level, but if I’m having a hard time finding someone my level I’ll grieve. I rarely grieve just to grieve.
I can’t wait for BC for arenas because PvP becomes a little more about honor than smooth brains farming HK’s on autopilot. Before I quit, I had a rule to not attack someone unless they were full health and had their CD’s unless they attacked me first. There’s nothing fun or skillful about killing someone with a handicap, I hated it when people did it to me, so I didn’t do it to them. I only kill someone twice at most unless provoked or they’re one of the kinds of players I hate the most – I hate actual gankers, people whine about how bad someone is for killing lowbies, but usually they have a reason. The real garbo players are the ones who gank and run the moment someone their level comes. Those kinds of players I’ll literally camp until they log.
I am a rogue so I am opportunistic, I attacked and killed a mage 2 levels higher than me because I like the challenge and the thrill of wpvp . its dynamic and a lot more fun than getting 10 crocolisk hides for some random quest guy

Being a Rogue seems to be the primary criteria in deciding if you’re going to mindlessly attack other players or not.

You’re not wrong. I made a Rogue specifically for the reason that I love wpvp. It’s definitely not my favorite class for PvE

It’s hilarious against squishy classes. Literally zero chance to live through the ridiculous burst rogues can put out for a lot of people.

Because they chose the wrong faction. The purpose of World of Warcraft is to defeat your enemy who plays humans. This is a fantasy MMO which allows someone to choose a side that is rich in lore like the Horde.
