What lvl to start power leveling boosted dungeons?

What lvl can I start buying boosted dungeons? Is SM the soonest? more info better please <3 ty

Level 8 in RFC

Anything after 20? Can a 60 power level you through it without XP lost? I heard having full group gives better xp for some reason

You’ll always get an xp loss with a 60 in the group but with boosting that doesn’t matter because of how fast you get the xp.

And it is better to have more people in the group. You get an xp bonus for every extra player in the group and that brings down the average level of the group which also means more xp per kill.

Once you’re in RFC you can go straight through to 60.

8-16 in RFC

16-25 in SFK

25-40ish in SM

40ish-50 in Mara

50-60 in ZG

You are a life saver thank you so much for the info!

So I get a lvl 60 then the rest of the group I fill up with people my lvl?

And is this boosting method faster than lets say using Zygor’s guide and questing?

On low-pop servers, LFG has no boosts. Nothing. Nada. On hi-pop servers LFG is full of boost offers. So use a hi-pop server.

What I actually see in Horde LFG is this: most boost runs are SM (Armory+Cathedral in one run, 1 reset) and Mara. I see a much smaller number of ZG runs. SFK is uncommon (1 per day) and RFC is rarer. Most RFC boosts are in the local Orgrimmar channel, not LFG.

So the schedule above is “in theory”. If you tried to level entirely by boosting, you would spend hours or days waiting for each boost. You might spend ten times as long waiting as boosting.

Questing and grinding are good XP, so it’s best to combine them. Keep an eye on LFG, but don’t wait for boosts. Go level and grab boosts when they appear.

But maybe I just don’t know good strategies. I’m relying on LFG, but there may be better ways to hook up with boosters and do a bunch of levels by repeated runs.

In my experience, being boosted gives me XP about 3 times faster than solo grinding/questing. It’s enough faster to be worthwhile, but it isn’t 10 times faster.

Because EXP is calculated via the average group level. Say you have a level 10 being boosted by a 60. They’ll get xp based on (60+10)/2 = average group level of 35, which will likely be bad. Now if you have 4 level 10s that changes to (60+10+10+10+10)/5 = average group level 20. Much much better xp
