Saw some guides say 70, but i triedwith my level 72 and it said i was too low.
You need to be max level for normal and heroic, you can do LFR while leveling.
when i type /who blackrock and sort by level, peoplea re under 80 are in there, and not all of them are LFR
Blackrock Depths is still a leveling dungeon if someone is leveling in Cataclysm ChromieTime. It was turned into a Timewalking raid during this anniversary event, but that doesn’t replace the dungeon.
80 and a good ilvl and knowledge of your class. Its not a place to level, its actually hard. The anniversary edition is a raid, not a dungeon.
Felt OT:
Heroic felt like our whole group gave our all and we still kept wiping on last two bosses. My opinion is that essentially you can have no dead weight in a Heroic Prog party.
Normal you can outgear but it isn’t like normal Palace where you can jump in the late 590’s.
Haven’t tried below 80 but according to WoWhead you can do it at 70??

Not really sure I understand Blizzards thought process on BRD difficulty especially for the reward. Granted they’re a joke but Heroic BRD is legitimately harder than the first 4 bosses of Nerubar on Mythic. Even the last two bosses in LFR have more mechanics than the first 4 of Mythic

LFR is level 30+. Normal is level 70+.
100% so tanks have no idea how to pull or mechanics and kept wiping the raid. Even yes LFR is actually harder than the current LFR raid
Also doesn’t help that the tuning of the LFR version is so poorly scaled.
Get a lowbie and they will roll over every boss in seconds while taking no damage.
Get 80s who may have a slot or two for upgrades and some bosses take forever and may even come with wipes as the mechanics actually hurt.

But the change to Timewalking scaling was supposed to fix all that! 
If you have someone below max level in your group they will do insane damage because of scaling. At least in LFR version. Just did last 2 bosses and a lvl 53 warrior did 114mil dps on Flame and 31mil on Emperor.

Bumping this back up, because I’m hearing reports from people in the level 70s unable to get into Normal BRD. But the guide says:
Starting at Level 30 , players will be able to queue into the LFR difficulty of Blackrock Depths! Furthermore, players will be able to cross-faction queue into this raid instance! For Normal and Heroic, players will need to be at least Level 70 .
Has anyone successfully gone into BRD Normal between 70 and 80?

It says I’m not high enough on my 70 BDK.
I was hoping they’d do something like allow the event for peeps who don’t have TWW and that’s why the original quote says. Seems it fell by the wayside.
I also dont get the point of the raid on lower levels. No gear drops, even low lvl versions. You sit through the entire thing for some gold and low exp?
Did you get to Q for your level 70?

LFR you can just do in the raid finder menu.
