What legendary do you holy pallies like?

Shock barrier seems like the go to, but the light of dawn one with extra range feels like the healing output would
be overall greater.

Shadowbreaker is going to be big when we can equip two. Inflorescence of the Sunwell would be great for a ranged build if Blizzard would hurry up and make consuming Infusion of Light generate a Holy Power.

You don’t think it’s bigger than shock barrier?

Shock Barrier is the only choice atm, unless you’re trying an off-meta build

For M+ you aren’t really hitting LoD enough to keep the buff up to make it worth while. You’re also not hitting 4+ target very often so using it for the sole purpose of getting the buff is a HPS loss over WoG in 95%+ of cases.

For raid, its only really worth if you’re gona use two LoD’s in quick succession, the targets that need healing are 15+yds away, no close targets are injured, you hit 4+ targets both times and you don’t overheal. The WoG buff is nice if you’re using WoG a lot in raids. Sun King is potentially a fight where its better as you don’t really heal the raid more that you heal Kael’thas but KT doesn’t take damage.

The Range increase is a QoL upgrade, but for throughput its mediocre as LoD doesn’t hit very hard in and of itself and at the long ranges you’re getting 0 mastery benefit and the effect is too short to make use of unless you hit the same people twice with it.

Interesting. Thank you for your assessment

Shock Barrier is universally useful. Holy shock is the main tool used in the holy paladin toolkit so you can keep the barriers up for alot of a fight. They are small but they do add up. IIRC, my shock barriers can easily be 9-10% of my healing, and I’ve heard from others it can be upwards of 15%.

If you’re Kyrian there’s no way its not shock barrier, it’s between 9-12% of my HPS in CN depending on the fights.
I have both the LoD and Shock Barrier legendary at ilvl 225 and I noticed a definite HPS increase with shock barrier VS the 40yd+mastery LoD.
