What kind of mouse do you use?

I’ve been using a gaming mouse for years, now. Not just like a high precision mouse, either. One of those fancy mice with 12 buttons on the side.

What do you guys use? If you use a standard mouse how do you handle all of your abilities?

Edit: I didn’t even say which mouse I’m using. Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB.

Cougar 700m EVO. It’s a bit heavier and fits my hand better than other mouses I can hereabouts obtain. I don’t use the extra buttons for abilities, though, rather I use a mess of shift and control modified keybinds and a few F keys.

A basic logitech trackball. Much faster and more precise than a mouse, and much more ergonomic. I would like more buttons on it though.

Some razor thing. Can’t remember the model cause I am at work but it changes led colors!

I just switched to the 12-button mouse and I don’t like it and I’m not used to it yet. I didn’t know you had to bind them to keys on your keyboard. I thought they would come with their own buttons, but I had to bind them all to Ctrl+Shift+1 etc.

Naga Trinity for a long time now. I use the double button on the side because they’re big and I’m a DH main.

Some low end cheap as anything mouse I found somewhere.

If you don’t mind skipping modifier macro’s you can just bind them all to the numpad. The game doesn’t use the numpad numbers for anything. The only downside is you can’t use [mod:shift/ctrl/alt] in macros because shift pressing some of the numpads activates windows features.

(Like, Shift+Nmpd4 is Left Arrow no matter what).

Used a Naga Razer for a couple years, just picked up a Roccat Leadr wireless gaming mouse, in love with it, well laid out buttons, it even has a Shift button on it to double the number if you need them and every button on it is customizable being able to add more instant cast abilities to the mouse buttons has been awesome

It was okay to use Ctrl+Shift+1 and things like Ctrl+Shift+] for example but it was just kind of odd. The instructions didn’t say anything about key mapping but thankfully a friend told me about it LOL

I’ve used the mice with the 12 extra buttons on the side but only use 4 of them, with a shift modifier. I’ve thought about looking for a mouse with like 4 to 8 well placed buttons instead.

Well glad you sorted it out either way! I’ve been using mine for ages, and just letting it take over the numpad. No modifier macros for those buttons but whatever.

I still want to rip out all the functions from the keys on the right side of my keyboard, move them to the numpad, and then rebind my mouse to those keys instead. Then I’d have a 36 button mouse cause I could use modifiers.

I feel like one can never have enough buttons.

I died, I really did. That gave me a solid laugh.

You do you, captain! I just need to hoard buttons. It’s not a mental illness. It’s not.

Looks sweet!

It has horns. Love it. (The buttons near the end of the mouse buttons look like horns to me.)

I technically only use 1-9, because 10, 11, and 12, don’t have a good spot on my numpad. Plus I feel like I can reach 1-9 easily, with my thumb resting on 5, but going back to 10-12 is a stretch.

Razer Naga Trinity. I have small hands and short fingers (one reason i gave up on the guitar almost before I started) and it’s still a little big to comfortable. But I use the side insert with 7 buttons in a circle because I can’t comfortably use the 12 button grid.

Logitech G300s. I’m left-handed so most mmo mice wouldn’t work well for me. I find the idea of side buttons clunky anyway. The 4 top buttons are pretty useful though.

Evoluent vertical mouse 4, wireless. My ergononomice comfi finally broke.

I have ulnar nerve issues in my right arm. I can’t use a standard mouse.

Whatever came with this Dell from Best Buy 6 years ago.
