I have been using a Razer Blackwidow Chroma TE with green swithces. It’s a tenkeyless board that has RGB.
For work, I also use a wireless Logitech G613 with Romer G switches. They are a little less audible, but still decently tactile. I think I actually prefer to type on this keyboard more than the Razer. It doesn’t have RGB, but it does have wifi connectivity for my phone which is nice. I think I may be switching to this again and pawning off the Razer to my son.
What do you all use?
SteelSeries Apex 150. It not mechanical, but it feels great. It has RGB backlighting and I can see the key markings in the dark.
I wired up an old mechanical typewriter. Key travel is kind of ridiculous for quick reactions in PvP but it’s satisfying to use.

Haven’t tried one of their products yet, but I hear great things about them.
One thing about this Logitech board that I don’t really like are the G keys. They’re kind of useless to me, and get in the way. I also tend to use the final keys on the end to “index” my positioning on the escape, tab, and control keys. So sometimes that can be a problem in games where I have those keys keybound.
The Razer seems to have a double type issue though which is distracting. I hear that’s a common issue with that brand. I don’t know, lol.
The first few versions of the Apex keyboards are very similar to a traditional keyboard, but with fancy features like backlighting. Before I got my Apex I was hoarding old HP keyboards.

This is another reason I’m leaning towards using the Logitech G613 more. The Romer G keys are more like browns, as they’re a little quieter.
The green Razer keys are like MX blues. very very clicky and anoying.
Logitech G513 Carbon with the clicky keys. I have a Logitech TKL ‘Pro’ too, but the keys aren’t very clicky and I periodically use the numpad if I want to enter numbers, so not having it bugs me.
I have some PCBs on order so I can start building a small keypad for gaming. We’ll see how that goes. I think the combination of a keypad + the MMO mouse is going to be interesting.
A waterproof one because I keep spilling wine on them.

I used to only use high quality mechanical keyboards. But the keys would always crap out eventually, which was fine for gameing for the most part but when i started writing it was a real problem. I swapped to a 15$ dell keyboard the day my last mechanical broke and honestly id not know why I’ve been wasting all my money. My mouse has enough room for macros.
I also picked up a wireless tenkey, to use “when needed” on the Razer TKL, but usually i’m too lazy to bring it out “when needed”.
So another win for the G613 since it has it integrated.

I use the G613 as well, and I absolutely love it!
An NPET K10 RBG illuminated keyboard.
What key types did you get with it? I understand it comes with different types.
The crappy one that came with my computer.
