im ok with the farming for corruptions but if we are really catching up, why do i have to spend the same resource in essences(lets be honest, they are as outdated as our necklace, should be free)
I’m still mad at Blizzard for allowing people to keep their 50k Echos while I myself had 0 before this Tuesday purely because of their failure to think ahead when designing such systems. I’ve been playing A LOT and was massively behind others that stacked Echos purely because they didn’t complete their essences.
It’s absurdly hilarious for us to get punished for actually PLAYING the damn game!! Once more, corruption was a mistake.

I agree because I would’ve had at least 50k mementos myself I’d I didn’t buy all of my essences.
I’m in the exact same boat. Even dilly said he had 0 echoes. Meanwhile petkick has 44k LOL
How are they not playing the game if they have 50k echos? Honest question, 8.3 hasn’t interested me at all so I haven’t done much of it.
I had all Essences rank 3 before Echoes even hit. I gained 0 Echoes before this Tuesday allowed everyone to get them. I’ve effectively been punished for playing the game because if you had all your essences then, you were NOT eligible to loot Echoes/
Well, to be fair it does seem like he was punished (as were the rest of us that lost all our echoes).
Edit: The only consolation is that this affected a crap ton of people in PVE as well -which means there’s an increased likelihood of some compensation.
Imagine if it were vendor days and half of us lost a load of conquest currency? Blizz wouldn’t bat an eyelid.
petkick was legit doing highest dps world before vendor was released. he had 4 gushings and a cpl amps.
That’s because petkick can fulfill multiple roles (tank, dps) while we cant so we didn’t get any echoes…

Ya… i play monk and hpal NO WAY was i getting allllll the tank, healer AND dps essences as a healer main.
I for sure have massive issues with their implementation of this rng vendor, like some classes have a massive advantage right now over other classes due to their corruption being up.
im not saying its his fault at all. im just saying its stupid. dilly is gonna have to q into this dude who will have been able to by (looking at the haste 12% amp for 5k echoes) most likely 8 12% vers amps with just the amount of echoes he started with on day 1. not to mention all the ones he will earned after that.
im sure there are a bunch of other r1’s in the same spot. im sure it wont matter in the long-term, but it will definitely be annoying for a few months. I know garbagepriest/druid/monk whatever all his names are told me he also didnt have many of them as the patch started.
