What keyboard/Mouse combo works best with WoW?

My keyboard and mouse are just, well, OLD… like me. Looking for a nice keyboard and mouse combo that helps in WoW … not really into the loud click keyboards since I play a lot at night and like to keep quiet while family sleeps… What combo do you guys use and what do you like/not like about it? Thanks in advance.

I use a Logitech G600 mouse, I’ve been using the brand for years. They’re amazing for MMOs thanks to the obnoxious amount of buttons. Three on the mousewheel, 12 on the side, plus a g-shift clicker that essentially works like ctrl, so you have an additional 12 buttons when you hold it down.

As for keyboard, I don’t have anything special. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QV839G5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It’s quiet. It’s pretty. It works.

The question really is what keyboard/mouse combo works best with YOU.

I use a logitech g600 and a corsair K70 low profile. The low profile is considerably more quiet than “regular” mechanicals, but you still get the tactile response of a mechanical.

you should consider trying a mechanical. I’ll never go back to using a membrane keyboard.

I actually just got rid of one in favor of this one. They’re so loud it actually started to give me a headache when I’d type longer posts here.

I second (third?) the g600 mouse. It was a literal game changer when I was getting into 3v3 arenas. I could put targeting, focus, and dispel macros in a location that made sense. Since the button arrangement is 3x4, I could have 4 “rows” of buttons for each of the 3 team/enemy members

I can’t stand mechanical keyboards. Long key travel makes my wrists hurt after a while and the clackity noise of even the ‘quiet’ ones drives me absolutely nuts.

I liked it at first, but I’ve had it for a year or so now and couldn’t take the noise anymore. I type really fast so it was just a constant stream of clicky clacks. Definitely not the type of keyboard for me.

Boom… just ordered the G600 and the Corsair K70… same day delivery from best Buy… because, ya know, in 2020 getting off my fat butt and driving 5 miles is just plain ludicrous. Way too much work.

Thanks for the pointers!

I have a Mac style keyboard with quiet keys that I love. And a Logitech G600 mouse that people here recommended. The normal button clicks are loud, but all of the side buttons are amazing.

I use a mid tier mechanical keyboard cause I love the clacking sounds during play.
Mouse I think people go buy these spaceship mice or crazy hotkey ones. Personally I just think a 60 dollar mouse with a few buttons on the side works just fine

been using the stock keyboard that came with my laptop since thats what i use to game. its alright, no complaints. i do like that mech keyboards put out by razer, cosair, and logitech. thought about it for a sec then realized that the keyboard i have does everything it needs to. for my mouse i run a naga trinity. love it. so much versatility and customization. i bought it from target when they mistakingly put them on sale for 40 bucks. i snatched up a couple and gave one to my boy. was thinking of trying out the orbweaver just to see how it is.

the g600 is only about $35

I play fps so maybe your right, my mouse option could be biased to be flexible to play both mmo and fps so I did grab a 60 dollar option

I now have the World of Warcraft Legendary mouse but I used a Logitech 4 button trackball for 12 years before that. Keyboard isnt important to me as long as it’s not too small.

We bought $200 keyboards a while back. Talk about loud.
returned them both and got a couple corsair keyboards that dont have the mechanical keys. Still not as quiet as our old KB’s but tolerable.

I have had my keyboard for long enough I can’t remember the name but it’s a razar with 5 macro buttons down the left which adds another 5 hot keys then I have an alt modifier so that’s 10.
I also have the naga trinity with 12 on the side + I use the dpi buttons as hot keys and can bump scroll wheel left right and press for an extra 3.
Good thing I play druid main or I would have more keys than I knew what to do with.

Razer Cynosa Chroma, Razer Naga Trinity, and Razer Base Station Chroma
Lol I like the pretty lights all set to violet Starfall on my keyboard and Static on mouse and base. So it all matches my purple fans on my PC. As for actual performance? LOL It sure beats the super old boring ones I had before. Any speed increase would most likely be to upgrading my old laptop to a built for gaming PC my brother helped me with. shrugs I like them alright and the price was right at the time.

I have a K95 platnium corsair, it has clicky keys, not loud IMO, but I think the K70 is silent. I was going to buy the K70, but they were sold out. For $20 more I got the K95. Don’t get the corsair glaive mouse… three months after I got it it started double clicking on the left mouse button.

I live alone so I don’t mind the noise of the keys.

i use w.e. feels good to me. keyboard usually isn’t the issue for me the mouse is however. sometimes the mouse is too skinny and small for my hand so it feels awkard other times the side buttons feel out of place.

i really don’t even use the side buttons i pretty much just use mouse over macro’d to keys kind of like healing but for dps i don’t use any macro’s at all. i dont have trouble playing

I currently use the razer deathstalker V2 pro and the balisisk v3 pro, little pricey kb was 269.00 and the mouse 159.00…worth every penny. There both wireless
